Account Growth and Sales

  • Identify opportunities to increase product adoption, customer engagement, and account usage.
  • Recommend relevant products or features based on customer needs and eligibility.
  • Manage account expansion opportunities from initial discussion through follow-up and completion.
  • Address customer objections and explain product value clearly.
  • Work toward agreed account growth, retention, and sales targets.

Customer Onboarding and Product Adoption

  • Coordinate with onboarding and support teams to help customers get started successfully.
  • Guide customers through relevant product features and account processes.
  • Follow up on onboarding delays, incomplete requirements, or adoption challenges.
  • Help customers understand available resources and support channels.

Issue Resolution and Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with Customer Support, Operations, Risk, and other relevant teams to address account concerns.
  • Track escalations and keep customers informed until issues are resolved.
  • Communicate customer requests accurately and set realistic expectations.
  • Follow company procedures when handling sensitive account information.
  • Refer credit decisions, account restrictions, and exceptions to authorized teams.

Reporting and Customer Insights

  • Keep customer records, account activity, and sales opportunities updated in the CRM.
  • Monitor account health and identify early signs of reduced engagement or potential churn.
  • Prepare regular updates on portfolio performance, account risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Share customer feedback to help improve products, processes, and the customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant account management experience, ideally within the 2–5-year range.

  • Demonstrated success in customer retention, account growth, consultative sales, or portfolio management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence leading calls and presentations for US-based customers.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate product features into clear business value.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage accounts, activities, and sales opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reviewing account performance.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with corporate credit cards, business payments, spend management, or other financial technology products.
  • Experience managing US-based business accounts.
  • Experience handling high-value accounts or a portfolio with measurable revenue or usage targets.
  • Experience conducting business reviews, presenting account insights, and developing account growth plans.
