Full-Stack Developer – AI & Automation

Location: 100% Remote

Work Schedule: EST Timezone (Afternoon shift, exact hours to be confirmed)

Employment Type: Part-Time (Initial workload of approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to transition to Full-Time)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with expertise in AI implementation and automation to help develop a real estate management software solution focused on automated phone systems and property maintenance requests.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who can build applications from the ground up, manage backend infrastructure, and implement AI-powered workflows that solve real business problems. Beyond coding, you must understand business logic, think creatively, and translate operational requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Stack Development
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and software features.

Build frontend and backend components based on project requirements.

Develop APIs, database structures, and system integrations.

Set up and maintain server environments and backend infrastructure.

Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

2. AI Implementation and Automation
Develop AI-powered automated phone systems for handling incoming calls and maintenance requests.

Implement AI-driven workflows to capture, classify, and route property maintenance work orders.

Integrate AI tools and services with existing or newly developed software systems.

Automate repetitive operational processes within property management workflows.

Evaluate AI technologies and recommend practical solutions based on business needs.

Improve automation accuracy, reliability, and efficiency through testing and iteration.

3. Property Management Workflow Development
Translate property management requirements into technical features and workflows.

Develop systems for recording, tracking, and managing maintenance requests.

Implement logic for request categorization, prioritization, assignment, and status tracking.

Ensure automated phone interactions support practical business processes and escalation requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and develop appropriate technical solutions.

4. Backend Infrastructure and Security
Configure and maintain development and production server environments as required.

Develop secure APIs and backend services.

Apply appropriate authentication, authorization, and data protection practices.

Identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement suitable safeguards.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and support reliable operation.

5. Technical Collaboration and Documentation
Work closely with the IT consultant and project stakeholders to clarify requirements.

Participate in technical discussions, planning, and solution design.

Provide realistic development estimates and communicate progress against milestones.

Document code, system architecture, integrations, and deployment procedures.

Proactively identify technical challenges and recommend solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or Software Engineer.

Strong programming and software development fundamentals.

Hands-on experience developing both frontend and backend applications.

Experience building APIs, working with databases, and integrating third-party services.

Practical experience implementing AI-powered features, LLM integrations, or intelligent automation.

Experience configuring or managing servers and backend environments.

Understanding of software security, authentication, and data protection principles.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Excellent English communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and document technical work clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing AI voice agents, automated phone systems, or conversational AI applications.

Familiarity with speech-to-text, text-to-speech, telephony APIs, and voice automation platforms.

Experience with workflow automation and event-driven systems.

Previous experience developing property management, real estate, or maintenance management software.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and application monitoring.

Experience building systems from scratch rather than working exclusively on existing codebases.
