Instagram Reel Cover Designer – Aesthetic Feeds for Clients (Project-based)

Hi! I'm Laura, I run a social media agency based in the Netherlands.

I'm looking for someone who can design reel cover pictures (thumbnails) so my client's Instagram feed looks really aesthetic, clean and consistent. This is a gig paid per hour. If this gig goes well, we could work together on an ongoing basis and you could also do the thumbnail covers for my other clients.

The project:

• New reel covers for the last 50 reels on my client's profile, so her whole grid looks clean
• I will give you the real footage of the client
• Your job is to have a look at the client's current Instagram feed and design the reel covers in a way that the whole feed looks aesthetic and consistent
• Feel free to suggest a new order for the grid too. If you have an idea how the feed would look better, I'm open to hear it!
• Use the client's style and brand fonts
• Make sure the text is readable and visible on the Instagram feed (the grid crops covers, so you need to know the right format)
• No AI-generated images, only the client's real footage
• Make small changes based on my feedback

How it works:

• First a small paid trial: you design 3 covers
• If I love your work, you continue with the other 47 covers

What I'm looking for:

• You have real experience creating aesthetic Instagram feeds for clients
• You have a great eye for design, fonts, colors and layout
• You know Canva very well
• Photoshop is a plus, for example for clean cut-outs
• CapCut is a plus, for example to take nice still frames from the videos
• Experience with a feed planning app (e.g. Preview, Planoly or UNUM) is a plus
• You are reliable, communicate well and meet deadlines
• Good English

Details:

• $4 per hour
• Possibility to continue on an ongoing basis for my other clients
• Fully remote, communication via WhatsApp
