Technical Tutorial Creator – Windows, Mac, Mobile & AI

We are looking for a technically capable tutorial creator who can independently research, test, troubleshoot, and record clear screen-based technology tutorials for YouTube.

This role is not limited to one specific device, operating system, or application.

Topics may include Windows, macOS, iPhone, Android, AI tools, browsers, Microsoft 365, software configuration, troubleshooting, and other practical technology workflows.

You do not need to own every device listed below.

What matters is that you are technically capable, comfortable learning unfamiliar workflows, and able to create tutorials on the devices and systems you have access to.

Topics may include:

  • Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • macOS
  • iPhone / iOS

  • Apple settings and account features
  • Google account and Android settings
  • PC and Mac troubleshooting

  • a reference YouTube video,
  • an unfamiliar software workflow,
  • a Windows, Mac, iPhone or Android problem,
  • a software configuration task,
  • an AI/software integration,
  • or another technical topic.

You will be expected to:

  • research unfamiliar topics independently
  • use Google, YouTube, ChatGPT, official documentation, forums, GitHub, and other reliable sources when appropriate
  • test the steps before recording
  • troubleshoot problems when something does not work immediately
  • understand reference videos rather than copying them
  • create your own original version of the tutorial
  • record clean screen recordings with clear English narration
  • simplify longer workflows when possible
  • clearly flag genuine device or compatibility limitations

Device Requirements

You do not need to own every device.

Please tell us which of the following you currently have access to:

  • Windows PC/laptop
  • Mac / MacBook
  • iPhone
  • Android phone/tablet

Having access to multiple device types is a strong advantage.

What We Are Looking For

You should have:

  • Strong general computer and technology knowledge
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Strong research ability
  • Confidence learning unfamiliar applications
  • Ability to install and configure software
  • Experience using AI tools
  • Good spoken English
  • Clear microphone/audio quality
  • Good screen-recording habits
  • Ability to work independently

Experience with Windows Registry, PowerShell, macOS, iOS, Android, GitHub, Microsoft 365, browser troubleshooting, networking, AI integrations, or software development tools is a strong advantage.

Important

We need someone who is comfortable receiving topics such as:

“How to Change a Windows Setting Using Registry Editor”

“How to Fix an App Not Working on Mac”

“How to Change a Privacy Setting on iPhone”

“How to Fix an Android App Permission Problem”

“How to Connect Claude to Roblox Studio”

or

“How to Configure an Unfamiliar Software Feature”

and independently researching, testing, and recording the solution.

If your strength is only following very simple prepared instructions, this role may not be the best fit.

Hours & Pay

This will initially be a part-time role of approximately 5 hours per week.

Starting rate: $5 per hour.

There is potential for additional hours going into 2027 for the right person as our YouTube channels grow.

  • Ability to install and test software when required

Please include your computer specifications, microphone model, and which devices you currently have access to when applying.
