About the Role

About Us

Seniors Helping Seniors® Mid-South Georgia is a non-medical in-home care agency serving older adults across Georgia, with offices in Augusta and Lake Country and growing into Macon. We match seniors with caring, dependable caregivers. Our clients describe it as “like getting a little help from your friends.”™

Our mission is to help more seniors thrive at home by providing compassionate care that feels like support from a trusted friend. We are guided by Reciprocal Dignity: we honor our caregivers as much as our clients.

We are growing across several markets and need a marketing manager who can own our marketing calendar end to end, keep our brand consistent, and help us invest every marketing dollar wisely.

About the Role

You will be our marketing manager, working remotely and reporting directly to our President/CEO. You will own the planning, execution, and tracking of our marketing across digital, print, and public relations. You will also collect and edit content from our local team and adapt national franchise campaigns for our communities. Finally, you will evaluate any proposed media spend before we commit to it. This is a hands-on role: you will build the calendars and do the work.

Key Responsibilities

Google Business Profiles

Manage and optimize our Google Business Profiles for each office location (Augusta, Lake Country, and future markets)
Post weekly updates, photos, and events
Monitor and respond to reviews promptly and professionally, escalating sensitive reviews to leadership
Keep hours, services, and contact information accurate in every listing

Social Media Calendar

Build and maintain a monthly social media calendar (Facebook , Instagram, LinkedIn, and others as needed)
Create, schedule, and publish posts, including graphics, short videos, caregiver spotlights, client stories (with permission), recruiting posts, and community events
Engage with comments and messages, and route client and caregiver inquiries to the right team member
Report monthly on reach, engagement, and follower growth

Team Content Collection & Editing

Collect photos, videos, and stories from our office team and caregivers each week through a simple, consistent request process (for example, a shared folder or a weekly reminder)
Coach team members on what to capture, such as caregiver moments, community events, office life, and client activities (with permission)
Edit raw team content into polished social posts, reels, and short videos that fit our brand
Track photo and media releases so we only publish content we have permission to use

PR Calendar

Maintain an annual PR calendar of community events, awareness months (e.g., National Caregivers Month, Alzheimer’s Awareness), and agency milestones
Draft press releases, media pitches, and community announcements
Build and maintain a list of local media, chambers of commerce, senior organizations, and community partners

Print Campaigns

Plan and coordinate print materials such as rack cards, flyers, one-pagers, postcards, direct mail, and event signage
Design or manage the design of materials (Canva or similar), coordinate with print vendors, and track inventory and deadlines
Make sure every piece includes clear calls to action (QR codes, phone numbers, website links)

SEO & Website

Improve local search visibility in each of our markets
Recommend and update website content, keywords, and local listings and citations (Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps, senior care directories)
Track rankings, website traffic, and calls and inquiries from search

Annual Campaigns

Plan and run our annual marketing campaigns for client growth, caregiver recruitment, holidays, and seasonal themes
Build each campaign’s timeline, assets, channels, and success measures, then report results

Local Adaptation of National Franchise Messaging

Monitor national Seniors Helping Seniors® campaigns, observances, and messaging, such as Veterans Day, National Caregivers Month, and holiday campaigns
Turn national messaging into local content for each of our markets, featuring our own caregivers, clients, and community partners
Plan local tie-ins ahead of time, such as honoring veteran clients and caregivers or partnering with local VFW chapters and military communities
Keep local versions within franchise brand guidelines while making them feel personal and local

Media Investment Review

Evaluate every proposed paid media opportunity (advertising, sponsorships, directories, events, paid social, print ads) before we commit
Prepare a short recommendation for each: cost, expected reach, expected return, and fit with our brand and goals
Track spend against budget and report cost per lead and return on investment

Brand Standards & Reporting

Follow Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise brand guidelines and our local brand standards in every piece of content
Keep an organized library of approved photos, logos, templates, and copy
Deliver a monthly marketing report with what ran, what it cost, what it produced, and what you recommend next

Qualifications

3+ years of marketing experience, including at least 1 year with a US-based business
Proven experience managing Google Business Profiles, social media calendars, and local SEO
Strong photo and video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar), with a portfolio to show
Experience gathering content from busy, non-marketing team members
Strong written English with a warm, professional tone suited to families and older adults
Comfortable with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
Experience with print production and working with vendors
Highly organized: you plan in calendars, meet deadlines, and track results in numbers
