About the Role
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer Manager to lead a team of front-end and back-end engineers while staying hands-on with architecture and code quality. You'll balance people leadership with technical direction, ensuring the team ships reliable, scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full stack developers, conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning
Own technical architecture decisions across front-end (React/Vue/Angular) and back-end (Node.js/Python/Java) systems
Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into technical specs and sprint plans
Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high standards for testing, security, and performance
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and sprint planning using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices in partnership with infrastructure teams
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack
Report on team velocity, technical debt, and delivery risk to senior leadership
What You'll Do
You'll serve as the technical and people leader for a team of full stack engineers. Your job isn't to write every line of code or make every architecture decision alone — it's to guide the team, remove obstacles, and make sure the right work gets done well and on time.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of front-end and back-end engineers
Guide technical architecture decisions and review code for quality, security, and performance
Translate product requirements into clear technical plans with your team
Coordinate with Product, Design, and QA to keep projects moving
Run sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros that actually help the team
Unblock engineers when they're stuck — technically or organizationally
Represent engineering in conversations with leadership about timelines, trade-offs, and risk
Help transform individual contributors into confident, capable engineers

Required Qualifications
6+ years of full stack development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and back-end frameworks)
2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and Agile project management
Excellent communication skills and experience managing cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scaling engineering teams from small to mid-size
Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
