Content Creator & Professional Beauty Retoucher

I’m looking for a creative and reliable content creator and professional beauty retoucher to support my permanent makeup studio, specialising in brows and lips.

The role includes high-end photo retouching, short-form video editing, and creating content for Instagram and other social media platforms.

The ideal person has a strong understanding of professional retouching techniques and can create content that looks natural, polished, and realistic. There may also be opportunities to take on social media management as the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Professionally retouch before-and-after beauty and portrait photos using advanced editing techniques.
• Create short videos and reels from provided inspiration.
• Produce natural, high-quality beauty content.
• Preserve accurate brow hair strokes, pigment colours, lip details, facial features, and skin texture.
• Correct lighting, exposure, colour balance, and minor skin imperfections.
• Follow the studio’s brand style and maintain consistency across content.
• Suggest creative ideas for future content.
• Potentially help with content planning, posting, and engagement.

I’m looking for someone experienced in manual, professional photo retouching, rather than basic beauty editing apps or automated filters.

You may use professional editing software of your choice, provided you have the technical skills to produce high-quality, natural results.

Please do not use AI-generated retouching, AI beauty filters, Facetune, or one-click skin-smoothing applications.

Photos must preserve natural skin texture, realistic proportions, and accurate permanent makeup results.

Brow hair strokes, pigment colours, lip details, and the client’s natural features must not be changed or distorted.

Requirements

• Proven experience in high-end beauty or portrait photo retouching.
• Proficiency in professional photo-editing software.
• Strong understanding of manual retouching techniques, including skin cleanup, dodge & burn, colour correction, and texture preservation.
• Experience creating reels or short-form videos.
• Excellent attention to detail and composition.
• Creativity and the ability to follow inspiration and direction.
• Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience with beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or permanent makeup is preferred.
• Interest in social media management is an advantage.
