Full-Stack Developer Needed to Build a Modern Web & Mobile App (MVP)

We're exploring the development of a modern web and mobile platform that helps customers discover, book, and manage services from local providers.

Think of a lightweight service marketplace with a clean, intuitive user experience.

We're looking for a freelance developer or a small development team who can help us turn this concept into a functional MVP.

This is currently an exploratory project, and we're gathering estimates, technical recommendations, and potential development partners before committing to development.

What We're Looking to Build

1. Web Application

• Modern, responsive interface for desktop and mobile browsers
• User registration, login, and account management
• Customer dashboard and profile management
• Search, filtering, and service listings
• Appointment booking and booking history

2. Mobile Application

• Cross-platform support for iOS and Android
• User authentication and profile management
• Browse services and manage bookings
• Push notifications for booking updates
• Integration with the same backend as the web application

3. Backend & Admin

• REST API or equivalent backend architecture
• Database design and management
• Role-based access for customers, providers, and admins
• Admin dashboard for managing users, services, and bookings
• Basic reporting and activity tracking

Preferred Technology

We're open to recommendations, but experience with the following would be a plus:

• Frontend: React, Next.js, or Vue
• Mobile: React Native / Expo or Flutter
• Backend: Node.js, Laravel, or similar
• Database: PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Authentication: Secure, production-ready authentication
• Deployment: Vercel, AWS, Cloudflare, or comparable platforms

We're more interested in choosing the right technologies for maintainability and scalability than enforcing a specific stack.

What We Expect

• Clean, maintainable, and documented code
• Responsive UI with attention to user experience
• Basic automated testing for critical features
• Secure handling of authentication and user data
• Source code maintained in a shared Git repository
• Clear communication and regular progress updates
• Deployment assistance and a short technical handover

Project Timeline & Budget

We're targeting an initial MVP within approximately 6–10 weeks, depending on the proposed scope and implementation strategy.

Our budget is currently flexible. We'd like developers to provide their proposed fixed project cost or hourly rate, along with estimated development time.

We prefer milestone-based payments for project work.
