About the Role

Remote · Full-time · Independent Contractor · Flexible, output-based

About us

We are a fast-growing children’s supplements brand built around a simple purpose: helping parents support their children’s everyday wellbeing. We serve families primarily in the United States through our online store and care about the experience beyond the sale—from how we communicate with parents to how reliably their orders arrive.

We’re looking for a CRO Manager to establish and run a systematic conversion-rate-optimization program for paid-acquisition landing pages and the customer journey that follows. You’ll help us improve purchase conversion and revenue per visitor while protecting margin, customer understanding, and subscription quality.

What You’ll Own

You’ll own the CRO process from research and prioritization through build, QA, launch, analysis, rollout, and documentation. You’ll work closely with Creative Strategists and coordinate with Meta campaign owners, development, customer experience, finance, operations, and lifecycle partners as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze Shopify performance, funnel behavior, customer feedback, support themes, session recordings, and other relevant evidence to identify conversion opportunities.
  • Maintain a prioritized testing backlog with a clear problem, hypothesis, audience, primary metric, guardrails, and decision rule for each test.
  • Independently build, edit, and optimize Shopify landing pages and straightforward funnel changes using the agreed tools; coordinate specialist development when custom implementation is needed.
  • Align landing-page formats, positioning, messaging, proof, objection handling, and calls to action with paid Meta creative and customer intent.
  • Own tests through implementation, QA, launch, monitoring, analysis, and supported-winner rollout.
  • Validate assignment, conversion events, tracking, links, pricing, discounts, subscription behavior, and mobile/desktop functionality before launch.
  • Classify results honestly as winning, losing, or inconclusive and maintain concise weekly updates on tests, learnings, priorities, blockers, and decisions.

What Success Looks Like

During your first 90 days, you will:

  • Days 1–30: Audit priority paid-traffic journeys, establish baseline CVR, revenue per visitor, AOV, and funnel metrics where data allows, document measurement gaps, deliver a prioritized roadmap, and launch the first experiment subject to access and implementation capacity.
  • Days 31–60: Manage a repeatable experimentation cycle with a rolling backlog, documented hypotheses and QA, consistent reporting, clear blocker ownership, and supported-winner decisions.
  • Days 61–90: Demonstrate credible commercial learning and progress through documented results, uncertainty, next decisions, and implementation of supported winners within agreed guardrails.

Ongoing success will be assessed through experiment quality and delivery, purchase conversion rate, revenue per visitor, funnel progression, AOV, and agreed margin, refund, subscription, and customer-experience guardrails. Fixed uplift targets will be set after baseline validation; test count or win rate alone will not define success.

What You Bring

  • Proven hands-on CRO experience with Shopify DTC or direct-response brands acquiring customers through Meta.
  • Evidence that you personally owned the full testing cycle, not only advised or supervised an agency.
  • Case studies explaining what you analyzed, what you implemented, how the test or comparison was designed, the primary metric, the result, uncertainty or limitations, and what happened next.
  • Strong understanding of direct-response messaging, ad-to-landing-page consistency, mobile UX, customer psychology, objections, and purchase friction.
  • Practical experimentation knowledge, including traffic allocation, sample-size considerations, stopping rules, and interpreting inconclusive results.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify Analytics, GA4 or equivalent, Clarity or Hotjar, and an experimentation platform such as Intelligems, Shoplift, VWO, or equivalent.
  • Ability to build or modify landing pages in the agreed stack, perform implementation QA, investigate tracking inconsistencies, and coordinate fixes.
  • Clear written English, concise reporting, independent follow-through, and sound customer and commercial judgment.

Useful, but not required: Subscription DTC, supplements, skincare, or parent-focused product experience; testing bundles, pricing, subscription offers, post-purchase upsells, cohorts, or retention; direct-response copywriting and wireframing; HTML/CSS/JavaScript or Shopify Liquid; international-market experience; and sensible use of AI with output validation.

We’re interested in evidence of what you can do. Your application should show relevant CRO case studies, work samples, or examples and explain what you personally owned.

How We Work

You’ll report to the Founder for commercial direction, strategic alignment, performance, and major approvals. Operations provides delivery visibility, cross-functional coordination, dependency support, and escalation of operational blockers.

Within the agreed roadmap, you can prioritize routine tests, develop hypotheses, coordinate briefs, run analysis, and recommend or implement supported winners. Product claims, pricing, discount limits, subscription terms, material spending, major site functionality, and other commercial or customer commitments require approval.

Working arrangement: Full-time, remote, independent contractor, and output-based with a flexible schedule. Required overlap with the Founder and Creative Strategists is encouraged; the Founder’s active times are GST.

Why Work With Us

  • Have an autonomy to run and own CRO function in a fast growing DTC eCommerce brand
  • Work directly with the founder, Creative Strategists and the teams responsible for customer experience and commercial performance.
  • Have meaningful autonomy within clear priorities, quality standards, and approval boundaries.
  • Work remotely in a flexible, output-focused environment. No micromanagement.

Hiring Process

1. Application review
2. Interview with Operations Lead
3. Paid trial, TBD
4. Final interview and approval with Founder
5. Offer and onboarding
