We are looking for an IT Operations / Support Engineer to join our remote team in the Philippines and help ensure the reliable operation of our applications and services.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring and technical support of enterprise applications and services across multiple environments.
You will work closely with our Engineering, Cloud and Operations teams to maintain service availability, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve operational processes.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys Linux, application support, troubleshooting, monitoring and automation.
Main Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy and maintain applications and services across different environments.
• Monitor application and service performance and respond to operational alerts.
• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshoot application and system issues.
• Install, configure and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and coordinate resolution with relevant technical teams.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures and service status reports.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and other tools.
• Support deployments, upgrades, maintenance activities and technical projects.
• Ensure operational configurations follow technical specifications and established standards.
• Participate in a on-call rotation and handle critical production incidents when required.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT Support, Application Support, IT Operations, Systems Administration or Support Engineering.
• Good working knowledge of Linux.
• Basic understanding of networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership of technical and operational issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and participate in 5/7

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle and/or MySQL.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Bash/Shell scripting.
• Python or Perl scripting.
• Experience supporting Java applications.
• Experience with monitoring, logging or alerting tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with ticketing or incident management systems.
• Previous experience in mobile, online or digital advertising campaigns.
• Previous experience working with mobile operators / telecommunications companies.
