Finance Manager / Financial Controller — Fashion & E-commerce

Muehleder is an independent womenswear brand based in NYC. We’re looking for an experienced finance professional based in the Philippines to work remotely with our founder, organize our finances, and help us build a clear plan for profitable growth.

We need someone who can turn our financial data into practical recommendations, not just record transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and prepare monthly profit-and-loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow reports
• Build and update cash-flow forecasts so we can plan production, marketing, and operating expenses
• Analyze product costs, pricing, margins, and inventory profitability
• Track loans, repayments, accounts payable, and upcoming financial obligations
• Create budgets and sales targets, and compare actual performance against them
• Help determine what the business can afford to spend, reorder, or invest in
• Meet regularly with the founder to explain results and recommend next steps
• Coordinate with our U.S. accountant on tax-ready records

Ideal qualifications:

• Experience managing finances for a small business, preferably in fashion, retail, or e-commerce
• Familiarity with Shopify, payment processing fees, inventory, returns, and cost of goods sold
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with accounting software
• Ability to provide financial guidance and flag potential cash shortages early
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information

This is a part-time, ongoing remote role with some overlap with New York working hours.
