Business Strategy & Development Officer

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS BUILDER

We are building a new kind of engineering consultancy, one designed around engineering, technology, efficiency and an improved client experience.

We are looking for someone who wants to help build it with us.

Working directly with senior leadership, the Business Strategy & Development Officer will help turn the company's vision into an operating business. This will involve strategy, research, business planning, process development, technology implementation, client-experience development and ultimately regional growth.

This is not primarily a sales role.

We are looking for someone who can take an idea, research it, challenge it, structure it, develop a plan and help drive that plan through implementation.

The successful candidate will help develop the company's:

Business strategy and implementation roadmap
Operating model and business processes
Technology strategy
Digital client experience
Corporate systems and procedures
Business plans and financial models
Market and competitor research
Performance-management framework
New business opportunities
Regional expansion strategy

The role will also coordinate external specialists involved in areas such as branding, technology, websites, digital systems and corporate services.

A degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship or a related discipline is preferred.

The initial objective is to help build and implement the new company. As the business grows, the position is intended to develop into Business Strategy & Development Manager, with increasing responsibility for strategic initiatives, supporting staff and regional expansion throughout the Caribbean.
