About the Role

Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-time
Team: The Dwelling Collection

The Dwelling Collection is looking for a friendly, organized Calling Associate to help us keep apartment community information accurate and up to date.

Our agents rely on current information to confidently recommend communities to their clients. In this role, you’ll call apartment communities, speak with leasing teams, and collect the details our agents need to make informed recommendations and successfully register their clients.

If you enjoy conversations, ask good questions, and take pride in keeping information organized, this could be a great fit.
What you’ll do

  • Call apartment communities across the markets where we operate and introduce yourself as a member of The Dwelling Collection’s data team.
  • Confirm and update community information in Kindly OS, our internal platform.
  • Ask leasing teams about current availability, pricing, concessions, and other details relevant to renters.
  • Confirm whether communities work with apartment locators or real estate agents and whether they pay a referral commission.
  • Collect or verify details about commission amounts, registration requirements, guest card procedures, and required documents.
  • Verify the best phone number and email address for future community communication.
  • Document each conversation clearly, including the date, the person you spoke with, what was confirmed, and any follow-up needed.
  • Follow up with communities when information is incomplete or when a leasing team requests a callback.
  • Monitor Slack channels for questions and opportunities to verify or update community information.
  • Work closely with our data team to flag conflicting information and help keep records complete and reliable.

What we’re looking for

  • Clear, confident spoken and written English.
  • A professional and friendly phone presence.
  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort making outbound calls and following up consistently.
  • Ability to enter accurate notes while speaking with someone.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Comfort learning new tools, including Kindly OS, Slack, email , and spreadsheets.
  • A reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the equipment needed to make calls.

Experience in customer service, outbound calling, real estate, or property management is helpful, but we’re happy to train the right person.

What success looks like
You consistently connect with apartment communities, ask the right follow-up questions, and leave behind clear, accurate records that our agents can trust. You’re comfortable hearing “I don’t know” or “call back later,” and you take ownership of following up until the information is confirmed.

You understand that accuracy matters as much as activity: a well-documented conversation is more valuable than a call logged without useful information.
Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: USD $850 per month.
  • Paid time off: 8 days to start, with one additional day earned every six months.
  • Performance reviews: Every four months, with eligibility for consideration for a base salary increase.
  • Holiday bonus: Up to 50% of one month’s base salary, subject to performance review.
  • Additional paid opportunities: Overtime or weekend work may be available for additional pay.

Compensation and benefits are based on the Data Associate offer we just prepared; adjust them if the Calling Associate role has a different package.

How to apply
Please send a short introduction describing your experience with phone-based work and why you’re interested in this role. If possible, include a brief voice recording introducing yourself and explaining how you would approach a call to an apartment community.
