About the Role

About Hatsy

Hatsy is a US headwear brand making the best hat in the world: every hat is lined with silk, which is better for hair, scalp and skin, and more comfortable than anything else on the market. Our tagline is Inside Matters. We're content- and community-driven, and we're expanding into a full headwear line.
Until now we sold online only. With our supply chain now solved, we're opening a brand-new B2B channel — and we see it as one of the biggest drivers of awareness and revenue for Hatsy going forward.

The role

We're hiring an experienced B2B Partnerships Manager to build and own Hatsy's US B2B channel from the ground up. You'll find, pitch, close, onboard and manage two types of partners: service centers (dermatology clinics, hair salons, wellness centers) and retailers (department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's, boutiques, mall stores).
The core of this role is finding and closing the right partners. Hatsy is a premium brand, and every location that carries us reflects on it. You'll source partners that match our brand — reputable, well-reviewed, upscale or design-led businesses, never low-tier or off-brand locations — reach them through every channel including the phone, represent Hatsy the way we would, and close the deal. We need someone who already understands the US B2B market deeply and has done exactly this before.
This is a full-time, fully remote position working US hours. You'll report directly to the founders. Our initial focus markets are New York, Los Angeles and Miami, where we have team members who can visit partners in person when needed.

What you'll own

1. Service center partner portals
Service centers — dermatology clinics, hair salons, hair-loss specialists, wellness centers and spas — recommend Hatsy to their clients after a treatment or service, as a better alternative to the hat they'd usually wear.
Each partner gets one display set of hats (one of each style) and its own branded page on our website, for example ---------- /portals/drdorfman, with custom hero images of their location. Clients try a hat on in person, then buy through the portal. The partner holds no inventory and handles no payments, and clients can browse the full range.
You'll be the lead on this program end to end: finding and pitching centers, closing them, onboarding them (display set, portal setup, staff talking points), and monitoring each partner's performance.

2. Retail placement
The goal is to put Hatsy in front of everyday consumers in physical stores — department stores (Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's), independent boutiques, concept stores and mall retailers — ideally with our own section and branded name card.
Here we ship stock to the store. You'll research and prioritize accounts, find the right buyers, pitch and negotiate, and manage the relationship through first order, sell-through and reorders. Your job is to convince them that Hatsy is the superior hat and belongs on their floor.

Responsibilities
Prospecting & research

  • Build and maintain target lists of service centers and retailers in New York, LA and Miami, then expand to other US cities.
  • Identify decision-makers (owners, practice managers, buyers, category managers) and their contact details.
  • Vet every account for brand fit (reputation, reviews, clientele, look and feel) before reaching out, then prioritize by size and likelihood to close.

Outreach & closing

  • Run multi-channel outreach, including cold calling locations directly by phone, plus email , LinkedIn, Instagram DMs and wholesale platforms.
  • Write and refine pitch email s, call scripts and follow-up sequences.
  • Lead video calls and presentations; handle objections and negotiate terms.
  • Book in-person visits for our local team and brief them before each one.
  • Prepare for and pursue department store buyer meetings and vendor onboarding processes.

Onboarding

  • Service centers: coordinate the display set shipment, collect photos and details for their portal, work with our web team to launch it, and train staff on how to recommend Hatsy.
  • Retailers: manage line sheets, purchase orders, shipping, in-store display and name card setup.

Account management & reporting

  • Monitor sales per partner (portal sales and retail sell-through) and flag under-performers early.
  • Run regular check-ins, drive reorders and grow each account.
  • Keep the CRM complete and up to date — every lead, touchpoint and deal stage.
  • Send a weekly pipeline report to the founders: new leads, meetings, deals closed, revenue by partner.
  • Feed back what you hear from partners on product, pricing and objections.

Who we're looking for
Must-haves

  • 3+ years in B2B sales, wholesale or partnerships, selling to US businesses — with closed deals you can point to.
  • Strong knowledge of the US retail landscape: how department stores, boutiques and independent shops buy, and how to reach their buyers. You can tell a premium, on-brand location from a low-tier one at a glance.
  • Proven ability to open doors cold: you've booked meetings with businesses that had never heard of your company, and you're comfortable cold calling locations by phone.
  • Persuasive, native-level English, written and spoken, and the polish to represent a premium brand in every email , call and meeting. You're confident on the phone and on camera with American business owners.
  • Extremely organized. You live in your CRM, track every follow-up and never let a lead go cold.
  • Self-managed and reliable working remotely: you set your own daily targets, hit them and report clearly without being chased.
  • Available to work US Eastern Time business hours.

Strong pluses

  • Experience selling fashion, accessories, apparel or beauty products wholesale in the US.
  • Experience selling into salons, dermatology clinics, med spas or wellness businesses.
  • Existing relationships with US department store or boutique buyers.
  • Familiarity with wholesale platforms (Faire, NuOrder, Joor) and department store vendor onboarding.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM, Apollo or similar prospecting tools, and Shopify.
  • Comfortable building partner-facing materials in Canva or Google Slides.

You'll fit in if you're

  • Competitive and driven by results, not activity.
  • Genuinely excited by building something new from zero.
  • Proud of the product you sell — you'll need to believe Hatsy is the best hat on the market.

How to apply
We receive many applications, so please follow these steps exactly — applications that skip them won't be reviewed.
1. Start your application with the subject line "Inside Matters – B2B".
2. Tell us about one US B2B deal you closed: who the buyer was, how you got the meeting and what you sold.
3. List the US companies or types of businesses you've sold to, and your typical results (meetings per month, deals closed, revenue).
4. Attach a 2–3 minute video (Loom or similar) in which you introduce yourself, walk us through your US B2B experience, and share real examples of outreach you've done — read out an actual email , call script or DM you've used, and explain how you approach a cold prospect. Real examples only, no templates.
5. Include your CV.
Shortlisted candidates will complete a short paid test task and a video interview with the founders.
