Senior Architectural Designer - Revit and US Codes

JOB OVERVIEW: (Remote| Mon-Fri | 9 AM - 5 PM EST)

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our established US architectural firm for a long-term remote position.

This is a true senior-level role for a professional who can take full ownership of projects, solve complex design and technical challenges, and make sound architectural decisions independently. If you have advanced technical expertise in Autodesk Revit, a deep understanding of US building codes, and the ability to develop projects from initial concepts through complete construction documents, we are ready to compensate you for your high-level skills.

SCHEDULE & HOURS:
40 hours per week (Full-Time).
Days: Monday to Friday.
Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time (Requires working the night/graveyard shift in the Philippines for live collaboration).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and develop architectural design and documentation for US residential and commercial projects.

Translate project requirements and design concepts into highly detailed, coordinated, and construction-ready Revit models and drawing sets.

Oversee space planning, building layouts, exterior design, and intricate architectural detailing.

Review drawings to ensure absolute accuracy, consistency, code compliance, and constructability.

Proactively identify and resolve design conflicts and technical challenges before they impact construction.

Coordinate architectural drawings seamlessly with other disciplines and project team members.

Manage project priorities and deliver top-tier work with minimal supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive professional experience as a Senior Architect, Senior Architectural Designer, or highly advanced Revit Drafter.

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus).

Strong, verifiable knowledge of US residential and commercial construction methods, specifically wood framing, building assemblies, and architectural detailing.

Working knowledge of US building codes and standards (IBC, ADA, fire protection, and life safety).

Total comfort working with US imperial measurements (feet and inches).

Reliable home office setup: High-speed internet connection, webcam, headset, and a computer capable of handling heavy Revit files.

Exceptional English communication skills for daily live collaboration with our US-based team.

Willingness and ability to work a dedicated US Eastern Time schedule (graveyard shift in the Philippines).
