Role: Freight Broker / Carrier Sales Representative

Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST
Salary: Php 60,000 - Php 65,000

Their primary responsibility is to secure reliable carriers, negotiate profitable rates, and book loads quickly without creating service problems.

Responsibilities

-Load booking: Cover all assigned loads before pickup deadlines
-Carrier sourcing: Find available trucks through load boards and existing carrier relationships
-Rate negotiation: Negotiate competitive carrier rates while protecting Alpha's profit margin
-Carrier verification: Verify carriers through Highway, Carrier411, insurance, MC/DOT, and fraud checks
-Load confirmation: Confirm pickup/delivery appointments, equipment, rate confirmation, and driver information
-Dispatch handoff: Provide tracking staff with accurate carrier, driver, appointment, and load information
-Problem solving: Find replacement trucks for cancellations, breakdowns, or rejected carriers
-Carrier relationships: Develop dependable carriers for the company's regular lanes
