About Me
I am a retired schoolteacher who has taken on photography to supplement my retirement. Cloppshots is a fine-art photography business specializing in wildlife, landscape, travel, coastal, and underwater photography. I am seeking a talented Lightroom editor with a strong photographic eye to help curate, edit, and prepare images for print sales and online galleries.
This is not a high-volume retouching position. I'm looking for someone who understands photography, composition, storytelling, and natural image editing.
Responsibilities
Review and cull batches of 100-500 photographs at a time
Select the strongest images using Lightroom ratings and flags
Participate in image review sessions with the photographer
Perform natural, professional edits in Lightroom Classic
Use Topaz Photo AI, Denoise, Sharpen, and Gigapixel when appropriate
Organize files and maintain image libraries and Lightroom Classic Catalogs and Files consistently on a Google Shared Drive
Recommend print sizes and materials (metal, acrylic, canvas, fine-art paper)
Create image titles, descriptions, captions, and keywords (can use my ArtHelper account)
Organize themed collections for sale
Upload and prepare listings for Art Storefronts, Etsy, and similar platforms
Follow established file naming, export, and delivery standards
Required Skills
Adobe Lightroom Classic
Strong understanding of photography composition and image quality
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written English
Experience with photo culling and image selection
Organized and dependable
Preferred Skills
Topaz AI products
Wildlife, landscape, or travel photography experience
Print production knowledge
Art Storefronts experience
Etsy or e-commerce experience
SEO and metadata experience

Compensation
$5-$10 USD per hour
5-10 hours per week initially
Potential for additional hours as the business grows
