Lucky Penny Event Planning & Rentals is a creative wedding planning and event rental company based in Crested Butte, Colorado, USA. We produce beautiful mountain weddings, large-scale tented celebrations, and unforgettable events.

We have years of incredible professional photography, behind-the-scenes footage, and stories to share. What we're missing is someone who can take the lead in turning all of that into consistent, engaging social media content.

We're looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media & Content Manager who can become a long-term part of our team.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Manage our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts content.
• Edit engaging short-form videos from raw iPhone footage and professional photography.
• Create visually appealing Instagram carousels and posts.
• Write authentic, engaging captions that match our brand personality.
• Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar.
• Send our owner a specific weekly filming checklist and follow up to ensure footage gets captured.
• Organize our existing photo and video library.
• Research content ideas and trends that fit our brand.
• Schedule and publish approved content.
• Track performance and provide simple monthly reports.

• You're a self-starter who doesn't need constant direction.
• You have a strong eye for design, aesthetics, and storytelling.
• You're comfortable giving friendly reminders and holding a busy business owner accountable.
• You understand how to make content feel genuine, fun, and engaging rather than overly polished or salesy.
• You have excellent written English and strong communication skills.
• You're organized and comfortable managing multiple projects.

Required Skills

• Short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Canva or similar graphic design tools
• Social media scheduling and content calendars
• Strong English copywriting

Experience working with wedding, hospitality, lifestyle, travel, or design brands is a plus.

Hours & Compensation
Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week.
$500–$800 USD per month depending on experience, skills, and agreed responsibilities.
Flexible remote schedule with some overlap during Colorado business hours.
We're looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship, not just a short-term editing project.
