Hiring: Part-Time TikTok Video Editor / UGC Content VA

Remote | Flexible Hours | 5–7 Hours per Week

I'm looking for a creative, trend-savvy Virtual Assistant to help me grow a brand-new TikTok account focused on lifestyle, product reviews, UGC, and relatable everyday content.

My goal is to grow the account to 1,000+ followers, build an engaged audience, and eventually secure paid brand collaborations.

I'll provide the raw video footage. I need someone who knows how to turn simple clips into engaging, entertaining, scroll-stopping TikToks.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into short-form, UGC-style TikTok videos
• Create engaging hooks, captions, and on-screen text
• Stay up to date with TikTok trends, trending sounds, and viral editing styles
• Edit lifestyle videos, product reviews, product recommendations, and relatable content
• Help with posting and optimizing content for engagement and follower growth
• Bring creative ideas to the table!

Requirements

• Previous experience editing UGC and lifestyle content is REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of TikTok trends, humor, and American social media culture
• Excellent English comprehension, including slang, sarcasm, and relatable humor
• Ability to create natural, authentic content that doesn't feel overly edited or like an advertisement
• Experience with CapCut, Edits, or similar editing software
• Good creative judgment and ability to work independently
• Reliable communication and quick turnaround times

Visual Aesthetic & Editing Quality

• Strong eye for clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing TikTok edits
• Apple/iOS-style emojis ONLY when adding emojis to videos. No Android-style emojis.
• You do not need to own an Apple device, but all all final videos must follow this requirement
• Ability to create polished, high-quality videos that still feel natural, relatable, and authentic
• Attention to small details like fonts, text placement, transitions, and overall visual consistency

-Understanding of current TikTok editing styles without making videos look overly produced or outdated

Hours & Workload:
This is a very light, flexible position requiring approximately 1 hour per day, maximum (5–7 hours weekly).

Most videos will already be filmed and simply need editing, captions, and posting. I'm looking for someone efficient who can deliver quality work without needing constant direction.
