Media Buyer (Paid Social & Search)
Confidential employer
We're Not Hiring Someone to Simply "Spend the Budget."
We're Hiring Someone Who Scales Ecommerce Brands Profitably Across Meta, Google, and TikTok, and Proves It With Data.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY DIRECTLY TO THIS POST. TO APPLY, FOLLOW THE STEPS AT THE END.
Pay: Negotiable flat rate per two-week period in USD, based on experience
Pay Timing: Paid once every two weeks. Approximately 80 hours per pay period, agreed upon at hire
Location: Remote, Philippines-based applicants only
Role Type: Full-time, long-term
Team Scope: Manages paid media across multiple ecommerce client brands, working with the paid social ad designer, copywriting, email , website, and strategy teams
This role starts with performance. If you do not already have hands-on experience managing Meta, Google, and TikTok ad accounts across multiple brands, with ROAS as your north star, this probably is not the job for you.
Why This Role Exists
Most ad accounts do not fail because the product is bad or the budget is too small.
They fail because:
Campaigns are launched and then left alone
Budget keeps flowing to ads that stopped working weeks ago
Nobody notices creative fatigue until results have already dropped
Tests are planned but never actually run, or run without a clear question
Pixel and tracking issues quietly corrupt the data every decision is based on
Winning ads are found by luck instead of by a repeatable process
Designers get vague requests instead of clear, data-backed creative briefs
At EcomIgnyte, we run paid media for multiple ecommerce brands, and every one of them depends on paid traffic to grow. We want ad accounts that are:
Structured clearly
Tracked accurately
Tested constantly
Scaled deliberately
Measured honestly
Built around ROAS and profitable growth
We're hiring a Media Buyer who can build, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok, read performance data with confidence, find the creative worth scaling, and run a testing program that actually gets executed.
This role exists so:
Every client's ad accounts are actively managed, not set and forgotten
Budget moves toward what is working and away from what is not
Every brand has a steady pipeline of creative and audience tests
The paid social ad designer receives clear briefs based on real performance data
Tracking and attribution issues get caught early
Leadership and clients get clear, honest reporting on what is happening and why
This is not about boosting posts or chasing vanity metrics.
It is about turning ad spend into profitable, repeatable growth.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will not only be launching campaigns. You will own the paid growth engine for each client brand you manage, from account structure to creative testing to reporting.
Campaign Management
Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Meta, Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube), and TikTok
Design clear account and campaign structures for each brand
Manage daily budgets and pacing across multiple client accounts
Scale winning campaigns and cut underperformers quickly
Manage full-funnel campaigns, including prospecting, retargeting, and retention audiences
Monitor accounts daily for spend issues, delivery problems, disapprovals, and sudden performance changes
Testing and Optimization
Plan and run structured tests on creative, hooks, angles, audiences, offers, and campaign structures
Write a clear hypothesis for every test: what you are testing, why, and what result you expect
Spot creative fatigue early and plan refreshes before performance drops
Identify winning creative and d ---------- how to iterate on it and scale it
Maintain a testing roadmap and results log for each brand so learnings are never lost
Tracking and Data Quality
Audit pixel, Conversions API, and conversion tracking setups
Check that attribution settings and windows match how each brand should be measured
Compare platform-reported results with Shopify data and flag gaps
Make sure every decision is based on data you trust
Creative Briefing and Collaboration
Write clear, data-backed creative briefs for the paid social ad designer and copywriters
Share what is working, what is fatiguing, and what to test next
Give fast, specific feedback on creative before launch
Work with the website team when landing pages are hurting ad performance
Reporting
Track ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, conversion rate, AOV, and spend for every account
Prepare clear weekly performance reports for leadership and clients
Explain what happened, why it happened, and what you are doing next
Organize tasks, tests, briefs, and approvals inside ClickUp
You are not expected to design the ads yourself.
You are expected to:
Live inside Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager
Make decisions based on data, not hunches
Run the tests you plan, consistently, for every brand
Give designers briefs clear enough to produce the right creative the first time
Manage several brands and budgets without losing track
Report honestly, even when results are not good
This Role Is for Someone Who…
Has actively managed Meta, Google, and TikTok ad accounts with clear, measurable results
Treats ROAS as the north star and understands how it connects to profit
Understands full-funnel testing, ad sequencing, creative fatigue, and attribution windows
Can build campaign structures, audit pixel setups, and evaluate data quality
Turns numbers into tactics and runs the tests they plan
Is constantly curious about what is working, what is not, and why
Can brief creative teams clearly and help refine what gets produced
Can manage several brands, budgets, and deadlines at the same time
Accepts losing tests as useful learning, not failure
Can take feedback without ego
Communicates clearly on camera, in writing, and in ClickUp
This Role Is Not for Someone Who…
Has only boosted posts and never run real paid campaigns
Dabbles in ads but does not live in Ads Manager
Avoids performance data or struggles to interpret it
Needs a strategist to tell them what to do
Cannot juggle multiple brands or manage deadlines
Is "almost fluent" in English
Experience That Helps

Agency or multi-client media buying
Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube), and TikTok Ads

Shopify analytics and Google Analytics
Attribution tools such as Triple Whale or Northbeam
Creative strategy and writing creative briefs
Offer, landing page, and audience testing
ClickUp or similar project management tools
Simple design skills in Figma, Canva, or Photoshop (a bonus, not a requirement)
You do not need to be a "marketing genius."
You do need:
Real, hands-on media buying experience
Comfort with data, testing, and evidence
Strong judgment about when to scale, hold, or cut
Clear communication with designers and non-marketers
The discipline to keep accounts monitored and tests running every week
How You'll Work With the Team
Leadership and strategists set client goals, budgets, and priorities. You turn them into campaign plans, testing roadmaps, and results.
The paid social ad designer produces static ads and variations. You give them clear, data-backed briefs, fast feedback, and performance results so every round of creative gets better.
The copywriting team provides hooks, headlines, and angles. You tell them which messages are winning and which are fatiguing.
The website and email teams own the landing pages and follow-up. You flag when a landing page is hurting ad performance and share what customers respond to.
The project manager keeps work moving in ClickUp. You keep your tasks, tests, and briefs up to date so nothing gets stuck.
You are not buying media in isolation. You are part of a system built to turn every client's ad spend into profitable, repeatable growth.
Why You'll Like Working Here
Ownership over the paid growth engine for multiple ecommerce brands
Real budgets and fast feedback loops
A dedicated ad designer to produce the creative you brief
A steady testing program where you see your ideas measured every week
Clear workflows and expectations
Organized project management
Leadership that values evidence over opinion
Long-term opportunities for growth
A team that cares about quality, clarity, and execution
We do not reward spending for its own sake.
We reward clear thinking, consistent testing, and growth that is proven in the numbers.
