About the Role

We're Not Hiring Someone to Simply "Make Pretty Ads."
We're Hiring Someone Who Designs Ads That Stop the Scroll, Communicate in Seconds, and Get Better With Every Round of Data.

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY DIRECTLY TO THIS POST. TO APPLY, FOLLOW THE STEPS AT THE END.
Pay: Negotiable flat rate per two-week period in USD, based on experience
Pay Timing: Paid once every two weeks. Approximately 80 hours per pay period, agreed upon at hire
Location: Remote, Philippines-based applicants only
Role Type: Full-time, long-term
Team Scope: Designs paid social creative for multiple ecommerce client brands, working closely with the media buyer, copywriting, and creative teams

Why This Role Exists
Most paid social ads do not fail because they look bad.
They fail because:
The hook does not stop the scroll
The message takes too long to understand
The product, offer, or benefit gets lost in the design
The ad looks like an ad, and people skip it
The same creative runs until it is exhausted
One concept gets made once instead of tested in several variations
Designers never see the performance data, so the next round repeats the same mistakes

At EcomIgnyte, we run paid media for multiple ecommerce brands across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms. Creative is the biggest lever in every one of those ad accounts. We want ads that are:
Scroll-stopping
Clear in under three seconds
Native to each platform
On-brand
Built in testable variations
Improved by real performance data

We're hiring a Paid Social Ad Designer who can turn briefs and performance insights into high volumes of clean, conversion-focused ad creative, and who gets better with every round of results.

This role exists so:
The media buyer always has fresh creative ready to test
Every concept is produced in enough variations to find a winner
Winning ads are iterated on quickly before they fatigue
Each platform gets creative built for how people use it
Brands stay consistent across every ad and format
Performance data shapes every new round of design

This is not about making trendy graphics.
It is about designing ads that get attention, communicate fast, and drive action.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will not only be making ads. You will help d ---------- what every brand's paid social creative says, how it looks, and what gets tested next.
Ad Creative Production
Design static ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and other paid social platforms
Create ads in every size and placement needed: feed, stories, reels, and carousels
Turn creative briefs, copy, and product photos into clean, scroll-stopping ads
Design common ecommerce ad formats, such as product benefit ads, offer and promo ads, before-and-after, comparison, testimonial and review ads, UGC-style graphics, and "us vs. them" layouts
Edit and resize product images and lifestyle photos for ad use
Create simple motion graphics or edit short video hooks when needed
Variations and Iteration
Produce multiple variations of each concept, such as different hooks, headlines, visuals, offers, and layouts
Iterate on winning ads quickly so the media buyer can keep scaling them
Refresh fatigued creative with new angles while keeping what worked
Adapt one campaign concept across several platforms and formats
Working From Data
Review performance feedback from the media buyer on which ads are winning and why
Learn which hooks, layouts, and visual styles perform best for each brand
Use those learnings to make every new round of creative stronger
Suggest your own creative ideas and angles worth testing
Organization and Quality
Follow brand guidelines for every client
Build reusable ad templates and components in Figma
Check every ad for spelling, alignment, readability, safe zones, and platform text and size requirements
Name, organize, and export files so the media buyer can launch them without guessing
Organize briefs, revisions, feedback, and approvals inside ClickUp

You are not expected to run the ads.
You are expected to:
Think about what makes someone stop scrolling
Communicate one clear message per ad
Produce high volumes of quality creative on deadline
Design for each platform, not one size for all
Learn from performance data instead of personal taste
Work across several brands without losing consistency

This Role Is for Someone Who…
Has designed paid social ads for ecommerce brands
Understands that an ad has about three seconds to get attention
Has strong instincts for hierarchy, contrast, typography, and layout
Can make one idea work across many sizes, formats, and variations
Is comfortable designing in Figma, and in Photoshop or Canva when needed
Is fast without being sloppy
Wants to see performance data and enjoys learning what actually works
Can work within existing brand guidelines
Can take a clear brief and deliver, and asks questions when a brief is not clear
Accepts losing ads as useful learning, not failure
Can take feedback without ego
Communicates clearly and works well inside organized systems

This Role Is Not for Someone Who…
Only designs for how things look, not how they perform
Struggles to produce volume on deadline
Gets attached to one version and resists testing alternatives
Ignores platform specs, safe zones, or brand guidelines
Is "almost fluent" in English
Experience That Helps
Paid social ad design for Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, or Snapchat
Ecommerce or direct-to-consumer brands
Creative testing and producing ad variations
Figma components and reusable templates
Photoshop for product image editing and retouching
Simple motion design or short video editing (After Effects, CapCut, Premiere Pro)
UGC-style and native-looking ad formats
Working with media buyers, copywriters, and performance teams
Agency or multi-brand work
ClickUp or similar project management tools

You do not need to be a "creative genius."
You do need:
Strong design instincts
Attention to detail
Marketing awareness
Speed and consistency
The ability to learn from performance data
The discipline to follow briefs, brand standards, and feedback

How You'll Work With the Team
The media buyer runs the ads and reads the data. They give you creative briefs, testing needs, and performance feedback, and you turn that into new concepts, variations, and iterations.
The copywriting team provides hooks, headlines, and angles. You organize that copy visually so the message lands in seconds.
The creative and website teams provide brand assets, product photos, and guidelines. You keep every ad consistent with the brand.
The project manager keeps work moving in ClickUp. You keep your tasks, revisions, and deliverables up to date so nothing gets stuck.
You are not designing in isolation. You are part of a system built to find winning creative faster and scale it across every client brand.

Why You'll Like Working Here
A variety of ecommerce brands and creative challenges
Real performance data on the ads you design
A media buyer who gives you clear briefs and honest feedback
A steady pipeline of creative work
Clear workflows and expectations
Organized project management
Leadership that values thoughtful, performance-driven design
Long-term opportunities for growth
A team that cares about quality, clarity, and execution

We do not reward decoration.
We reward clarity, speed, strong creative judgment, and ads that prove themselves in the numbers.
