Technical SEO Specialist
Confidential employer
Own the technical side of SEO for a book of US clients: crawl health, schema, and the analytics everything else is measured on.
Rohring Results is a US marketing agency of about thirty people. We run SEO, paid advertising, social and creative, content, web development and custom software for businesses across the US, many of them home-services and local companies. Our delivery team works from the Philippines.
Our SEO team has four specialists under a department lead, and this seat owns everything technical: site audits, crawl and index health, schema, sitemaps and the measurement setup. A real part of the job is that the plumbing often isn't there. A client may have no GA4, no conversion tracking, lost access or a brand-new site, and you build it rather than file a ticket about it.
What you will do
-Set up new clients end to end: tracking pixel, Search Console, GA4 with lead tracking, Bing Webmaster Tools, sitemaps and behavior analytics.
-Find technical problems across every client site, sort them by severity and fix what is assigned to you.
-Check that automated on-page changes actually went live, and catch them when they didn't.
-Investigate indexing problems with deep crawls.
-Write and validate structured data.
-Support site launches and migrations so rankings survive the move.
What we are looking for
-2+ years of hands-on technical SEO.
-Deep crawler experience, not just default crawls.
-GA4 and Google Tag Manager at implementation depth. You can prove a conversion event fires.
-JSON-LD written and validated by hand.
-WordPress and SEO plugin know-how.
-You check whether things work, not only whether they were configured.
-Clear written English.
Nice to have
Search Atlas or a similar platform. Bing Webmaster Tools. Microsoft Clarity. Log file analysis. JavaScript-heavy sites. Migrations.
How we work
-Remote, Philippines-based. Core hours are 9am–1pm Philippine Time every workday. The rest of your hours are flexible within the same day.
-Time tracking. We track hours in Hubstaff against client projects, so each client gets the time they pay for. It also records activity data, and we do not use that to judge how well you do your job.
-AI is part of the work. We use AI tools across the company. We want people who use them well and check what comes back, not people who trust them blindly or refuse to use them.
We are still building. Some of our processes are newer than we would like. You will help shape how this work runs, not only follow a finished playbook.
How to apply
Send Applications to ---------- with your CV, send short answers (a paragraph each) to these questions. We read these first; they tell us more than a cover letter.
1. A client's GA4 has been connected for a year with no conversion events. What do you do first, and what do you tell the account team about the last year of reports?
2. Tell us about a technical assumption you found in documentation and checked. What did you find?
Applications without the answers will not be reviewed.
