Web Developer/Designer Project- Astro experience

Job Title: Web Developer to Rebuild Orthodontic Practice Website (Astro/Cloudflare)

About the project:
We’re migrating the website for dental practice off Duda. Duda is a proprietary builder and doesn’t export themes or databases, so there’s no one-click transfer. The site needs to be rebuilt to match the current design and content on a new platform (most likely Astro/Cloudflare).

What you’ll do:
Review the existing Duda site and recreate its pages, layout, and branding faithfully on the new platform
Move over all content, images, and forms
Set up 301 redirects from old URLs so the practice keeps its Google rankings
Make the site fast, mobile-friendly, and easy for non-technical staff to edit (if using WordPress)
Reconnect integrations: [contact forms, appointment booking, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, call tracking]
Configure hosting, DNS, SSL, and the domain cutover with minimal downtime
Test everything before launch and fix issues after

What we’re looking for:
-Proven experience rebuilding or migrating websites, ideally from site builders specifically Astro
-Strong skills in WordPress or Astro/Cloudflare, and a clear opinion on which fits a small practice best
-Solid on-page SEO and redirect handling
-Experience with healthcare or small-business sites is a plus, including careful handling of patient-facing forms
-Clear communication and the ability to work to a deadline

Deliverables:
-Fully rebuilt, live website matching the current design
-Redirect map and a pre/post-launch checklist
-Short handoff guide for editing content
-Potential ongoing support as needed (paid)

Details:
-$10/hour until project completion (roughly estimating 20-40 hours)
