Revenue Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to lead revenue accounting operations and strengthen the order-to-cash function for a global legal technology company.

This role oversees revenue and cost-of-revenue accounting, month-end close, revenue recognition, and process improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in ASC 606, and can lead a team while partnering effectively with Finance and other business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close activities for revenue, cost of revenue, deferred revenue, deferred costs, and related general ledger accounts.
• Ensure revenue close, forecasting, and reporting are accurate and completed on schedule.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and analyses documenting the company’s positions under ASC 606.
• Work with external auditors to support consistent, GAAP-compliant revenue accounting.
• Set strategic plans and objectives for the order-to-cash organization.
• Lead the order-to-cash team and oversee its processes.
• Improve systems and workflows through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quote-to-cash issues.
• Maintain effective internal controls and support their ongoing operation.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members across the Philippines and Israel.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or equivalent qualification, with Big 4 experience.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, including 3 or more years in revenue accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, with a focus on ASC 606.
• Experience managing revenue accounting close and related general ledger accounts.
• Ability to lead a team, develop talent, and manage change.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across departments and locations.
• Good judgment, critical thinking, and risk management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working with global teams.
