Social Media Content Strategist

Hi, my name is Khairy Fiala, and I'm representing #1 NY Beauty, a brick-and-mortar beauty supply store located in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA.

We're currently looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Content Strategist & Marketing Specialist to help us grow our online presence, improve our branding, and develop engaging content across our social media platforms.

What We're Looking For

We want someone who can bring fresh ideas to our business, develop creative marketing strategies, and help our team execute content that attracts customers and increases engagement.

We're not interested in generic AI-generated videos or repetitive content. We want authentic, creative, and engaging marketing that represents our brand and connects with our customers.

1. Content Creation & Strategy

Help us develop original content ideas for Instagram, Facebook , TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

This includes:

• Creative ideas for Instagram Reels and TikTok videos
• Engaging content concepts featuring our products
• Trending content ideas relevant to the beauty industry
• Educational, entertaining, and promotional content
• Strategies to increase engagement, followers, and customer interest
• Developing a consistent content calendar

2. Video Scripts & Creative Direction

We're looking for someone who can develop scripts, concepts, and instructions for videos that our team can record in-store.

For example, you might develop an idea for a video showcasing our wigs, hair extensions, beauty products, or current promotions.

You would provide the script, creative direction, and suggestions for how the video should be filmed.

Our team can handle recording the content, while you help guide the creative process.

3. Graphic Design & Promotional Flyers

We frequently run sales, promotions, and special offers.

We need someone who can design professional, visually appealing marketing materials, including:

• Instagram promotional flyers
• Facebook promotional graphics
• Instagram Stories
• Sale announcements
• Product highlights
• Seasonal promotions
• In-store promotional materials
• Branded social media templates

We want our marketing materials to look consistent, professional, and visually attractive.

4. Marketing Ideas & Sales Promotions

We're also interested in someone who can proactively suggest creative marketing campaigns.

For example:

• Monthly promotional ideas
• Holiday and seasonal sales
• Product-focused marketing campaigns
• Customer engagement activities
• Giveaways and promotional events
• Creative strategies to bring more customers into our physical store

We don't want someone who simply waits for instructions. We're looking for someone who actively contributes ideas and helps us identify new marketing opportunities.

5. Social Media Branding & Aesthetics

We want to improve the overall appearance and consistency of our social media pages.

This includes:

• Improving our Instagram feed aesthetics
• Creating consistent branding across platforms
• Designing attractive posts and covers
• Improving profile presentation
• Developing a recognizable visual identity
• Making our pages look more professional and engaging

6. Collaboration With Our Team

Since we're a physical retail store, much of our content will need to be recorded on location.

We're open to working with someone remotely who can communicate with our employees, provide content instructions, and guide our team through the creative process.

Ideally, you would help us plan what to film, how to film it, what to say, and how to turn that footage into engaging social media content.

7. Ongoing Content Planning & Management

We'd like someone who can help us stay consistent with our marketing efforts.

This may include:

• Weekly content planning
• Monthly marketing calendars
• Scheduling promotional campaigns
• Reviewing social media performance
• Identifying opportunities for improvement
• Suggesting new content based on trends and customer interests

Our Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is creative, proactive, organized, and experienced in social media marketing.

Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, hair, wig, or beauty supply industry would be a major advantage.

We're especially interested in someone who understands how to create content that doesn't just look good but also encourages customers to visit our store and purchase products.
