Shopify Store Setup + Part-Time Social Media Assistant (Hunting/Outdoor Brand)

We are a small, growing hunting and outdoors brand run by a working outfitter. We sell hand-forged knives, arrows, plus hats and other gear, and we publish hunting videos on YouTube, Instagram, ---------- and Facebook . You will work directly with the owner.

I am looking for ONE reliable person to do two things:

PART 1: SET UP OUR SHOPIFY STORE (one-time project)

• Set up and customize a clean, professional theme for an outdoors brand
• Upload products with photos, descriptions, pricing and variants (I will provide the photos and details)
• Create collections, menus, and the Home, About and Contact pages
• Set up shipping, payments, taxes, and policy pages (shipping, returns, privacy, terms)
• Set up age verification and any other settings appropriate for selling knives
• Install and configure needed apps (email signup, reviews, etc.)
• Test checkout from start to finish
• Give me a short written or video walkthrough so I can manage the store afterward

PART 2: SOCIAL MEDIA HELP (about 2 hours per week to start)

• Schedule and post content that I provide on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
• Write captions and hashtags in our brand voice
• Light video editing: trim clips, add captions, format vertical Reels and Shorts
• Reply to comments and messages, and flag anything that needs my attention
• Send a short weekly update on what was posted

If things go well, the hours and responsibilities can grow.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR

• Hands-on Shopify experience, with examples of stores you built
• Experience with social media scheduling and short-form video
• Comfortable using CapCut or a similar editing app
• Clear written English and fast, reliable communication
• Comfortable with hunting content (animals, knives, the outdoors)
• You ask questions when something is unclear instead of guessing

NICE TO HAVE

• E-commerce experience with outdoor, hunting or knife products
• Basic photo editing (background cleanup)
• Experience with Etsy, Amazon or eBay

HOW WE WILL WORK

• I will start with a small paid test task before committing to the full project
• You will have staff access to the store, not my owner login. I keep ownership of all accounts
• All content and files you create belong to my business
• Please keep any private business information confidential
