Remote Job Assigner / Dispatcher (UK Hours) – £500/month + Commission

We're a UK home services company. Customers book jobs with us (cleaning, repairs, clearances, flooring and more), and we send self-employed tradespeople across the UK to do the work. We currently have two assigners in the Philippines who are doing really well, and we need two more to keep up with demand.

WHAT AN ASSIGNER DOES
Your job is to make sure every booked job gets a worker, and that the worker actually turns up.

• Check our job system for new bookings throughout the day
• Find the right worker for each job based on location, availability and skills
• Call, text and message workers to offer them the job and confirm they've accepted
• Follow up with the worker before the job to make sure they're still going
• Confirm the worker has arrived at the customer's address
• If a worker cancels or doesn't reply, find a replacement fast so the customer isn't let down
• Keep the job system updated with who is assigned and the status of every job
• Keep customers informed about who is coming and when

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Working on UK time, full time (around 40 hours per week)
• Your day finishes once every job is covered, not at a set clock-out time
• Confident, clear spoken and written English, comfortable calling UK workers and customers
• Fast replies. Jobs can't sit unassigned while you're away from your desk
• Persistence. Many workers won't answer the first call, so you keep going until the job is covered
• Accuracy. Every job, worker and status must be recorded correctly
• Reliable internet, a laptop or PC, and a quiet place to make calls
• Ability to stay calm and organised when it's busy
