Be Part of the AI Wave
Are you passionate about building AI agents and automations that solve real-world problems?
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗨𝘀:
Hi, I'm Harry, founder of AddSomeAI, a UK-based AI and automation development firm. We work directly with business owners to identify opportunities and build tailored solutions that drive growth.
We're looking for someone to help us build AI voice agents and business automations for our clients. Both are equally important parts of this role, with an immediate telephone-based voice AI project ready to start.
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲:
You'll work directly with me to build practical AI solutions, from voice agents that can hold conversations and take action to automations that connect business systems and eliminate repetitive work.
Our immediate project involves developing a telephone-based voice AI agent using LiveKit. Experience with LiveKit would be great, but we know it's a specialised framework. If you've built voice agents using Retell, Vapi or ElevenLabs, your experience could be highly transferable.
We're looking for someone who can build and troubleshoot independently, understands how to connect AI agents to real business systems, and is excited to experiment with the latest developments in voice AI.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴:
- Telephone AI Agents: Building conversational agents that can handle calls, follow instructions and complete useful tasks.
- AI Integrations: Connecting agents to APIs, CRMs, calendars, booking systems and other business software so they can retrieve information and take action.
- Business Automations: Creating workflows that connect applications, process information and reduce repetitive manual work using tools such as n8n, Make or custom code.
- Intelligent Workflows: Combining LLMs, prompting, tools and structured logic to create useful, reliable solutions for our clients.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Build and refine voice AI agents using platforms such as Retell, Vapi, ElevenLabs or LiveKit.
- Integrate voice agents with APIs, CRMs, booking systems, calendars and other business applications.
- Develop automations using n8n, Make or similar platforms, alongside custom code where needed.
- Write and refine prompts, conversation flows and tool instructions to improve agent behaviour and reliability.
- Troubleshoot issues, test real-world scenarios and ensure solutions work reliably beyond a basic demonstration.
- Keep up with the latest developments in voice AI, experiment with new tools and identify opportunities to improve what we build.
𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:
- Practical experience building AI voice agents using dedicated voice AI platforms.
- Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make or equivalent tools.
- Experience integrating AI agents with APIs, CRMs, calendars, booking systems or other business software.
- A good understanding of LLMs, prompting, tool calling and how AI agents interact with external systems.
- The ability to troubleshoot technical problems, work independently and deliver working solutions.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar development technologies.
We value practical ability over qualifications. You don't need to know every tool we use, but you should be able to demonstrate what you've built and explain how it works.
𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: 𝗚𝗼𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
We know many people are building voice AI solutions using GoHighLevel, and experience with it is welcome. However, GoHighLevel experience alone is not sufficient for this role.
We're looking for someone who has built voice agents using dedicated voice AI platforms such as Retell, Vapi or ElevenLabs, with experience integrating them with external systems such as CRMs, booking systems, calendars and APIs.
If your experience is limited to configuring GoHighLevel's built-in voice AI features, this role probably won't be the right fit. We need someone who understands how to build, integrate and troubleshoot voice AI solutions beyond a single platform.
𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- Experience with LiveKit Agents.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with ---------- v or Modal for running background tasks, jobs or compute workloads.
These are nice-to-haves, not requirements. We're happy to help you get up to speed with our preferred tools.
𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗜:
Voice AI is evolving incredibly quickly, and we want someone who is genuinely excited by that.
We're happy to share training materials, resources and guidance on effective prompting, voice AI development and the latest tools and techniques. You'll have the opportunity to learn directly from our experience and work with cutting-edge technologies as we develop real solutions.
In return, we want someone who takes initiative: keeping up with industry news, testing new voice AI applications as they emerge, experimenting with new approaches and bringing ideas to the table.
You don't need to know everything already, but you should be enthusiastic about learning and actively improving your skills.
𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀:
- Problem Solver: You enjoy working through technical challenges and finding out why things aren't working.
- Self-Starter: You can research, experiment and make progress without constant supervision.
- Curious: You're excited by AI, keep up with new developments and enjoy trying new technologies.
- Pragmatic: You focus on solutions that work reliably in the real world.
- Reliable: You communicate clearly, manage your workload and deliver against agreed deadlines.
We want people who care about their work, take ownership and want to help build something worthwhile. You'll work directly with me, have the freedom to suggest improvements and see the impact of the solutions you create.
We think big, grow together and celebrate wins.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆:

We do have an immediate opportunity to contribute to a Livekit telephone-based voice AI project we expect will be 4-5 weeks of work and by that time may have other work available for you.
We'll agree the scope, fee, deliverables and deadlines before each project begins. As our client work grows, there will likely be many more opportunities for further projects and a longer-term working relationship. We expect the majority of these will be automation opportunities and hope to offer full time roles when some large contracts we have get signed off.
