About the Role

I'm looking for an experienced YouTube editor to work on my bodycam channel, Looped.

We're making 10–15 minute videos about real police i ---------- , pursuits, arrests, and other interesting cases. I want someone who knows how to turn raw footage into a video people actually want to watch from beginning to end.

Here's the type of editing we're going for:
----------

Please watch a couple of their videos before applying. Pay attention to how they open their videos, build suspense, use police audio, explain what's happening, and keep viewers interested. We're aiming for that level of quality, but with our own style.

I'll provide the main bodycam footage, case information, and research. Your job will be to put everything together into a complete YouTube video.

What I need:

  • A strong opening that grabs attention right away.
  • Good storytelling and pacing without dragging out unnecessary footage.
  • Natural English voiceover that explains the case.
  • Clean editing, readable captions, and good audio.
  • A professional thumbnail using real footage, not AI-generated images.
  • A good YouTube title and description.
  • The ability to follow our editing instructions and use our channel logo.
  • The final video and editable project files.

I'm specifically looking for someone who has already edited long-form YouTube videos. If your experience is mostly TikToks, Reels, or Shorts, this probably isn't the right position.

Before applying, please send:

1. Your 2–3 best long-form YouTube videos that you've personally edited.
2. What parts of those videos you worked on.
3. Your experience editing documentaries or similar content.
4. Whether you can handle the voiceover and thumbnail yourself.
5. Your price for a complete 10–15 minute video.
6. How quickly you can finish one.

Our starting budget is around $50–$70 per video, and we're aiming for a 3-day turnaround when all materials are ready.

We prefer reviewing a watermarked preview before paying for and receiving the final files. Payment terms will be agreed before starting.

This can turn into consistent work if the quality is there.

I'm not looking for the cheapest editor or someone who just knows how to cut clips together. I want someone who understands YouTube, has real experience, and can show me work that proves it.

Please start your application with "Looped" so I know you've read everything.
