Social Media Assistant (AI-Savvy) – Viral Research, Reels & Carousels for a Growing Faceless Brand | 20 hrs/week | Results-Based
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
This is a serious role in a serious business. We are building Family Care Plan into a major brand, and this position is the engine of it. If you are looking for easy hours, a side gig you can ignore, or a job where nobody checks the work, please do not apply. We respect your time and ask you to respect ours.
We review results every single week. People who deliver, communicate honestly, and keep improving will be kept, given raises, and given more responsibility as we grow. People who don't will not be retained.
Honesty matters more to us than perfection. It is always better to tell us "I don't know how to do this" or "I'm going to be late" than to pretend and waste everyone's time.
If that sounds like you, keep reading. We'd love to meet you.
ABOUT US
Family Care Plan ---------- is a faceless brand on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for adult children caring for an aging parent, often while working full-time, living far away, or raising their own kids.
Our founder has 10 years of hands-on experience as a home health aide in the United States. Our page teaches the practical side of caregiving: getting organized, coordinating the family, handoffs, and hard conversations. We sell a digital product (a printable care organizer), and we are building toward more products, partnerships, and more pages.
The topic is meaningful. Our followers are tired, stressed, and doing their best for their parents. Our content has to be useful, calm, and kind.
THE ROLE
You'll find what goes viral, figure out exactly why it works, and turn it into calm, useful Reels and carousels for our audience, then post them across all three platforms.
SCHEDULE AND PAY
- 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday (20 hours a week). Weekend posts are scheduled in advance.
- You must be available for 1 hour within an agreed daily window (for example, 7:00–8:00 PM Philippine time) for questions and approvals.
- Starting rate: $4 USD per hour, paid weekly or every two weeks, always on time.
- Paid trial first, at the same rate.
- Raises: $5/hour at 30 days and $6+/hour at 90 days if you consistently meet the weekly review targets.
- Performance bonuses for big results (for example, a Reel passing 100K views, or strong growth in email sign-ups or sales).
- Long-term, ongoing work. As we grow, this role can grow into more hours, full-time, and leading content for the brand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO EVERY DAY (about 4 hours)
1. Viral research (30 min)
Find outlier posts (500K+ views, or far above an account's normal) in caregiving, aging parents, the sandwich generation, family organizing, and related niches. Track 20+ competitor pages. Log every outlier in our Idea Base spreadsheet: link, views, hook, format, pillar, and why it worked.
2. Reverse engineering
Break each outlier down: the hook in the first 1–3 seconds, on-screen text, number of cuts, length, loop ending, and what makes people share or save it.
3. Reels (about 1.5 hours)
Edit 2 Reels a day in CapCut from our template: a strong text hook over calm, licensed stock B-roll, with captions, brand fonts, colors, and logo. 15–45 seconds each. Source clips from Pexels, Pixabay, and the Canva library.
4. Hooks and captions (30 min)
Write 3 hook options per Reel for the owner to choose from. Draft captions with Claude or ChatGPT, then edit them so they sound human, warm, and natural.
5. Posting (20 min)
Schedule approved posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook at our best times. Post Stories.
6. Engagement (20 min)
Reply to simple comments using our approved templates. Flag anything emotional, sensitive, or medical to the owner. Check daily that our "comment CARE" automation is working.
7. Carousels (from week 3)
Design checklist and script carousels in Canva from our templates.
EVERY WEEK
- Trial Reels (once unlocked): post as a trial first, then to the main feed, and test different hooks.
- Repost proven winners at 90 and 180 days.
- Help coordinate 1 collab post a week with other caregiving pages (the owner approves partners).
- Weekly report and review (included in your hours): top 5 posts by shares, saves, and follows; what to double down on; what to drop; follower, email , and sales numbers; and next week's ideas.
HOW THE WEEKLY REVIEW WORKS
Every week we score your work out of 25 on five things: delivery on time, quality, following the rules, results, and communication.
- 20–25: On track. Eligible for raises and bonuses.
- 15–19: You'll get clear written feedback with 1–2 specific fixes.
- Under 15, or two weeks in a row under 20: Final review. If the next week doesn't improve, the engagement ends.
- A serious rule violation, or missing 2+ delivery days without notice, ends the engagement immediately.
In the first month, we judge delivery, quality, and rules most. Growth numbers carry more weight after day 30, because new pages take time to grow.
OUR NON-NEGOTIABLE RULES
- Faceless content only. No AI-generated people or AI avatars, ever.
- Licensed stock footage only. Never download or repost other creators' videos, TV, or movie clips.
- We remake proven formats with our own hook and angle. We never copy anyone's video, script, or caption word for word.
- No medical advice, ever: no symptoms, medications, doses, fall or transfer instructions, or diet advice.
- Nothing goes live without the owner's approval.
- We never share passwords. You'll get access through Meta Business Suite, a scheduler with team access, a shared Google Drive, and a Canva team.
- Everything you create for Family Care Plan belongs to the business and stays confidential.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience editing short-form video in CapCut (Reels or TikToks)
- Strong Canva skills
- Comfortable with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and able to edit their output so it sounds human
- A real understanding of how Reels and TikToks get reach: hooks, watch time, shares, and saves
- Excellent written English
- A reliable computer, stable internet, and a backup plan for outages (mobile data, power bank, or a backup location)
- Honesty, reliability, and the ability to take feedback and apply it
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience running or working on faceless or theme pages
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Metricool or another scheduler, ManyChat, or Beehiiv
- Experience in health, family, or wellness niches
- Personal experience caring for a family member
WORK STANDARDS
- Reply to messages within 12 hours on workdays.
- Tell us at least 24 hours ahead if a deadline is at risk. No surprises.
- Give 48 hours' notice for time off, and 2 weeks' notice if you plan to leave.
- Track your hours honestly.
- Check every post before submitting: spelling, captions, timing, and branding.
- Always be kind and respectful to our followers. Never argue, mock, or use sarcasm.
- Bring at least 1 new idea or format to test every week.
HOW TO APPLY
(Applications that skip any step will not be reviewed.)
1. Start your application with the word "CARE" so we know you read everything.
2. Send links to:
- 3 Reels or TikToks you edited
- 1 carousel you designed
- An example of viral research, or a breakdown of why a post performed well
3. Answer these questions in your own words (please don't use AI for these):
a. Walk us through exactly how you'd find 5 viral posts in the caregiving niche this week. Which tools and searches would you use?
b. Pick any viral Reel you've seen recently. In 5–6 lines, explain why it went viral.
c. How do you use AI for captions without sounding robotic? Show one example edit.
d. How would you post to our Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook without ever having our passwords?
e. Someone comments, "My mom keeps falling at night, what should I do?" How do you handle it?
f. What's the difference between remaking a viral format and reposting someone's content?
g. If a Reel gets very few views in 24 hours, what would you check and change next time?
h. Are you available 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour daily overlap in the evening Philippine time? What's your backup plan for power or internet outages?
NEXT STEPS
Shortlisted applicants will receive a paid trial: research 3 viral posts, make 2 Reels and 1 carousel from our materials, and write hooks and captions. The trial is paid whether or not you're hired. The best trial gets the job.
We're building something big and meaningful. If you're serious, honest, and ready to grow with us, we'd love to hear from you.
