About the Role

We are looking for a full-time customer support agent for a proxy service.

You will support customers through live chat, Telegram , and ---------- . This is not basic copy-paste support. You need real technical experience, the ability to troubleshoot independently, and clear communication skills.

We can teach you our products and internal processes, but we cannot teach you basic technical skills from scratch.

Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Hours: European daytime, approximately 08:00/09:00 to 16:00/17:00 CET/CEST, or alternatively 11:00/12:00 to 19:00/20:00 CET/CEST
Payment: $600/month, with possible future raise - depending on experience and trial performance
Training: 1 to 2 weeks of training, if needed
Role: Long-term contractor position

What you’ll do

  • Respond to customer questions through live chat, Telegram , and ----------
  • Help customers set up and use proxies correctly
  • Troubleshoot authentication, IP/port formats, proxy protocols, connection errors, API issues, anti-detect browsers, and basic scraping/automation setups
  • Distinguish between a customer configuration problem and a potential service issue
  • Reproduce customer issues and document the exact commands, settings, and results
  • Escalate technical, billing, refund, abuse, or infrastructure cases when needed
  • Follow internal SOPs and keep replies professional, clear, and prompt

Required technical experience: You must already have practical experience with technology, such as proxies, hosting, VPNs, Linux, networking, web scraping, browser automation, or programming.

Before applying, you should be able to:

  • Ping a hostname and look up its IP address using a terminal
  • Connect to a Linux server using SSH
  • Explain what RDP is and how it is used
  • Configure and connect to a proxy, via mobile and computer
  • (optional) Understand HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS proxies, IPs, ports, username/password authentication, and common proxy formats
  • (optional) Set up an anti-detect browser profile and configure its proxy
  • Explain the basics of browser fingerprints, JA3 fingerprints, TLS, and TCP. You do not need expert-level knowledge, but these terms should not be new to you
  • Read an error message or API response and explain what it means rather than send a generic reply
  • Test a customer’s configuration yourself and provide the exact command or settings used to reproduce the issue
  • Troubleshoot independently, document what you checked, and recognize when to escalate instead of guessing

Other requirements

  • Good written English and the ability to communicate naturally with customers
  • Experience using Telegram and ----------
  • Stable internet connection and a reliable PC
  • Availability during the stated European working hours
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and take responsibility for customer issues

Technical assessment and training
Important: Our hiring process includes practical technical tests that you must complete independently, without AI assistance. You will need to demonstrate your skills and explain your troubleshooting steps, not just submit answers. If you rely on AI to answer technical questions or complete the tasks, you will not be able to pass our assessment.

We can provide 1 to 2 weeks of training to help you learn our products, tools, and support procedures. This is not a beginner technical course. You must already have the basic technical experience listed above.

Nice to have

  • Previous support experience with a proxy, VPN, hosting, SaaS, scraping, automation, anti-detect browser, or server company
  • Experience with Python Requests, Selenium, Playwright, cURL, or Postman
  • Familiarity with residential, mobile, ISP, or datacenter proxies

Availability during your shift
You do not need to sit on the website or ---------- for the entire shift waiting for messages. You will receive notifications when a customer needs help. Your responsibility is to stay available during your shift, open the chat promptly, and handle the issue properly.
