Logistics Operations Analyst (On Time Performance Admin)
Confidential employer
GH Logistics is a high performance freight brokerage and asset based logistics company specializing in dry van and reefer freight. We move quickly, but we move with structure. Our operation is built on disciplined execution, accurate shipment tracking, and clear communication. As our operation continues to grow, we are looking for On Time Performance (OTP) Admins who can help strengthen our dispute management process, ensure transportation delays are properly documented, and support accurate, timely client dispute filings.
Role Overview
You will support our On Time Performance team by reviewing client transportation disputes, investigating shipment delays, gathering supporting evidence, and ensuring disputes are processed accurately and within their deadlines.
This role combines dispute investigation, documentation review, and shipment tracking verification. Depending on your assigned shift, you will also support either morning handoffs for overnight shipment exceptions or evening tracking checks for upcoming loads. You will work closely with our OTP team during training before gradually taking ownership of assigned dispute reviews and documentation responsibilities.
If you enjoy investigating shipment discrepancies, reviewing GPS tracking records, organizing evidence, and making sure transportation disputes are supported by accurate information, this role is an excellent fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and process transportation performance disputes involving late arrivals, departures, missed appointments, and other shipment irregularities.
- Investigate shipment delays by comparing USPS records against internal transportation systems, GPS tracking data, and supporting documentation.
- Review shipment timelines, GPS records, appointment details, and operational updates to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare dispute responses, supporting documentation, and case summaries using established procedures.
- Prioritize time sensitive cases and ensure assigned reviews are completed within established deadlines.
- Verify shipment tracking availability, supporting documentation, and recorded reasons for delays.
- Identify missing tracking information, delay explanations, or shipment documentation and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams.
- Request and organize additional supporting records when necessary for investigations.
- Maintain accurate dispute records, documentation checks, and case updates in internal tracking systems.
- Escalate conflicting information, recurring operational issues, missing documentation, and unresolved cases to the OTP Team Lead.
Shift-Specific Responsibilities
Early Shift – Thursday to Monday, 6 AM - 3 PM Central Time
- Coordinate with the night shift operations team during morning handoffs to collect updates on overnight shipment delays and exceptions.
- Verify that priority loads have complete tracking records, delay explanations, and supporting documentation.
- Identify and communicate missing evidence before continuing with assigned dispute processing.
Late Shift – Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Central Time
- Process assigned disputes and review daytime shipment documentation.
- Conduct evening tracking checks to verify FourKites tracking availability for priority loads scheduled to depart.
- Communicate missing tracking information and documentation gaps to the night shift operations team leads before the end of the shift.
What Success Looks Like
- Transportation performance disputes are accurately investigated, supported by reliable documentation, and processed within established deadlines.
- Dispute decisions are consistent, well-documented, and based on verified transportation records.
- Missing tracking information, delay reasons, and supporting documentation are identified and communicated promptly.
- Morning handoffs or evening tracking checks are completed accurately based on the assigned shift.
- Shared dispute and tracking records remain complete, organized, and updated.
- Issues requiring further investigation are escalated promptly rather than resolved through unsupported assumptions.
- Assigned responsibilities are handled independently and consistently after training.

- Familiarity with shipment tracking, GPS monitoring, appointment schedules, transportation delays, and delivery documentation.

- Comfortable working with transportation management systems, shipment tracking platforms, and operational databases.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret timestamps, shipment records, and supporting documentation.
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and maintaining accurate operational trackers.
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage time-sensitive tasks independently after training.
