About the Role

$5–$7 USD/hour | Full-Time | Remote |

Here's a situation. How would you handle it?

It's 9:00 AM, and you're coordinating several roofing projects.

  • Homeowner A calls because their roofing crew hasn't arrived, and they're getting frustrated.
  • Crew B messages you because they're missing important job information and can't proceed.
  • Homeowner C wants an update on when their project will start.
  • Meanwhile, your manager needs an accurate status update on all active projects.

What would you do first? How would you prioritize, communicate, and make sure nothing gets overlooked?

If your mind immediately starts organizing the situation, identifying what needs attention, and figuring out who to contact first, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

Who We Are

Proliance General Contractors is a growing roofing company in Illinois. We're hiring for a Project Coordinator to help keep our roofing projects organized and our homeowners and crews informed.

Your Role

You'll:

  • Keep accurate records and track outstanding tasks.
  • Catch potential problems early and help resolve them.
  • Make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Is exceptionally organized — you have a reliable system for managing multiple moving pieces.
  • Thinks critically — you assess situations, ask smart questions, and identify practical solutions.
  • Is proactive — you anticipate what's needed and follow through without constant reminders.
  • Speaks excellent English — you're fluent, clear, confident, and personable when speaking with American clients.
  • Has strong attention to detail — you catch errors and communicate accurate information.
  • Takes ownership — you don't simply pass problems along; you help get them resolved.

Experience in roofing, construction, project coordination, or client communication is a plus.
