Full-Time Video Editor, AI Video Studio | Permanent Role, U.S. Company ($800–$2,000/mo)

JOB OVERVIEW

We're a U.S.-based AI video production studio in Providence, Rhode Island. We make commercials, listing videos, social content and explainers for real estate agents, title and insurance companies, home service businesses and local brands. Our team's work has run with NASCAR, NFL players, sporting event spots and billboard real estate brands.

Our AI tools generate the footage. You make it look like it cost ten times more. We're hiring a full-time video editor who takes raw clips and turns them into finished, client-ready videos, every day.

This is a permanent, salaried seat with daily work. Not a gig, not a trial. We're building a team, not cycling through freelancers.

ABOUT THE PAY

$800 to $2,000 USD per month, based on experience.

• $800 is the starting rate for a solid editor with clean fundamentals who is newer to AI footage.
• Up to $2,000 for an editor who already finishes AI video at a commercial level and works fast.
• Raises are tied to your output and quality, not how long you've been here.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

• Cut AI-generated clips into finished 15, 30 and 60 second commercials, plus longer explainers and walkthroughs
• Join multi-clip sequences so they play like one continuous take
• Add captions (checked word for word against the script), lower thirds, simple motion graphics and branded end cards
• Mix voiceover, music and sound effects with clean levels
• Match color between clips from different AI tools so the whole video feels like one shoot
• Spot and fix AI flaws before anything ships (warped hands, flicker, face drift, lips out of sync) using cuts, punch-ins, reframes and cutaways
• Deliver a 16:9 master plus 9:16 vertical versions for social, exported to spec and filed in Google Drive with clear names
• Check your own work before it reaches us, and turn revision notes around quickly

We give you the scripts, briefs, character references and brand standards. You don't have to come up with the ideas. You have to make them look great.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of real editing work you can show us
• Strong in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
• An eye for pacing, cuts that land on the beat, and captions that are easy to read
• Someone who can't stand a sloppy frame and fixes it before anyone asks
• Fast without being careless. We put out a lot of videos.
• Experience with AI video tools (Seedance, Kling, VEO, Sora, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Runway or similar) is a big plus, not required. We'll train the right person.
• Clear written English, comfortable with Loom videos and quick calls
• At least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern time each workday
• A reliable internet connection and a computer that can handle 2K/4K timelines
