About the Role

We’re a growing U.S. property management company seeking an organized, proactive Recruiting Coordinator to manage our hiring pipeline for onsite teams.

You’ll help us hire maintenance technicians, property managers, leasing staff, and other property operations employees. Your job is to find qualified candidates, screen them carefully, and coordinate interviews with the appropriate hiring manager.

We need someone who can actively source talent, assess qualifications, and keep the hiring process moving.

What You’ll Do

Work with hiring managers to understand each opening, required qualifications, pay range, location, and schedule.

Create and manage job postings on approved recruiting platforms.

Actively source candidates, including for smaller towns and harder-to-fill maintenance positions.

Review applications and résumés against each role’s requirements.

Conduct initial phone or video screenings to assess relevant experience, communication, interest, pay expectations, availability, and ability to work at the property.

For maintenance roles, screen for relevant hands-on experience and required certifications using criteria provided by the hiring manager.

Present a shortlist of qualified candidates with concise screening notes, strengths, and any gaps requiring follow-up.

Coordinate interviews between top candidates and the appropriate manager.

Send reminders, confirm attendance, and follow up with candidates and managers after interviews.

Keep candidates informed and maintain accurate records throughout the process.

Coordinate reference checks and other approved pre-employment steps as directed.

Provide a weekly update on open roles, qualified candidates, scheduled interviews, and hiring bottlenecks.

What You Bring

At least two years of recruiting, talent sourcing, or hiring coordination experience.

Experience recruiting for U.S.-based employers.

Strong spoken and written English, including confidence conducting screening calls.

Experience using job boards, LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, and spreadsheets.

Strong organization and follow-through across multiple openings.

Good judgment when evaluating candidates against defined job requirements.

The ability to handle applicant information confidentially.

Reliable internet, a computer, and a quiet space for calls.

Availability for screening calls and interview coordination during agreed U.S. Central business hours.

Preferred experience:

Recruiting for property management, multifamily housing, maintenance, construction, or skilled trades.

Filling positions in smaller towns or rural markets.

Using Indeed and finding candidates beyond incoming applications.

What Success Looks Like

Hiring managers receive qualified candidates with clear screening notes.

Candidates understand the role, location, schedule, and compensation before manager interviews.

Interviews are scheduled promptly, with consistent follow-up.

Hiring records are current, and stalled decisions are flagged early.

Your work reduces the time managers spend sorting applications and coordinating interviews.

Hiring managers will make final hiring decisions. You will own sourcing, initial screening, and coordination.
