Full Stack Developer (PHP/MySQL) – Join Our Growing Team

We are a fast-growing B Corp merchandise company based in Ireland, making custom branded merchandise for clients across the US, UK and Europe.

We’ve built our own client portal, Merch Manager, where our clients view their products, place orders and track deliveries. We’re looking for an enthusiastic developer to join our team, take ownership of the portal, and help us keep improving it as the business grows.

This is a long-term role with a steady flow of new projects and improvements. You’ll work closely with our team in Ireland and the Philippines.

We’re an AI-first team. Everyone at Roody uses Claude in their daily work, and we’d expect you to use it to plan, build and test faster.

Key Responsibilities

Development
Maintain and improve our existing web application (PHP/MySQL).
Build new features for our clients and internal team.
Make sure pages are responsive, fast and easy to use.
Integrations
Connect our portal with other tools and platforms using APIs.
Testing and Support
Test changes thoroughly before they go live.
Fix bugs and keep the system secure and reliable.
Keep code organised and documented.
Teamwork
Work with our team to understand what’s needed and plan the work.
Give regular progress updates and deliver on agreed timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Skills

Strong experience with PHP and MySQL.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience working with APIs.
Comfortable using Git.
Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, Claude Code or Cursor (or a strong interest in learning).
Shopify experience is a plus.

Soft Skills

Enthusiastic and keen to be part of a team in a growing business.
A problem-solver who takes ownership of their work.
Clear, proactive communication.
Good written and spoken English is required.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 5pm–1am Philippine time. Hours are flexible for the right person.

Salary and Growth
$1,000–$1,200 USD per month, depending on experience. As the business grows, so will this role. There’s real room for salary increases and more responsibility for the right person.
