Job type: Part-time, ongoing, fully remote and async-friendly.
Hours: Flexible. Work is assigned by story and chapter, not by shift.
Description: We publish children's books and online stories with a growing cast of characters. You will write warm, funny, well-paced stories that kids love and parents trust, working from briefs written by our founder.
What you will do:

• Write children's book manuscripts and online story pieces from detailed briefs
• Match an established voice: warm, playful, family-friendly, never preachy
• Take revision notes and turn drafts around quickly
• Help develop side characters and small story arcs over time
• Work with modern AI tools every day, including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, and Meta Muse

Who this is for: a writer with published or portfolio children's writing, or online story and fan-fiction experience with real readership.
What success looks like: stories that ship, readers who ask for the next one, and a voice so consistent that nobody can tell where the brief ends and you begin. This is a key hire for us, not a commodity writing gig, and it is screened carefully.
Requirements:

• A great work ethic: reliable with deadlines, no chasing needed
• Excellent written English with a warm, playful voice
• Comfortable with computers and AI writing tools
• Your writing samples (Step 2) are how we judge fit, so send your best

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with children's books or serialized online fiction
• Picture book structure and read-aloud rhythm knowledge
