TWITTER TEAM ASSOCIATE ROLE

A Twitter team ASSOCIATE streamlines highlight plays, news, and the like on various
ClutchPoints-branded pages on Twitter . These are all but not limited to: NBA Nation pages, NFL Nation
pages, MLB nation pages, and core team pages

GOALS
Scour Twitter for breaking news and report it via CP pages
Have notifications for the biggest names on NBA Twitter (Woj, Shams, notable athletes like LeBron
James, Kyrie Irving...etc.)
Drive traffc to the ClutchPoints website through Bitly/backlinks
Acquire timely information from relevant sources
Fact-checking of information multiple times to make sure what we feed is accurate
Be able to come up with relevant and timely information including but not limited to: trades,
coaching changes, interesting stats, wild takes, and viral show clips
Be able to break news FIRST
Be able to screen-grab and record from various sources when relevant
produce Tweets that include but not limited to: Long form tweets, highlight tweets, breaking news,
timely updates, CP Reporter Tweets...
Collaborate with team members to drive/maximize engagement for CP

Responsibilities
Monitor sports news, games, players, teams, and trending topics across social media and sports platforms.
Use relevant hashtags, mentions, and trending topics when appropriate.
Create timely and engaging tweets/posts about breaking news, game updates, highlights, statistics, and viral sports moments.
Follow live games and quickly identify moments that are worth posting.
Strong knowledge of sports, particularly major U.S. sports leagues such as the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL,
Strong understanding of social media trends and viral sports content.
Ability to work independently and meet daily posting requirements.
Coordinate with the team to ensure content is posted according to the daily schedule.

PREFERENCES
Must be able to work 40/hrs a week (Full-Time)
part time positions also available but not prioritized
Must be a sports fan, and social media savvy
Must understand the essence of SPEED on Twitter
Ability to screen-record certain game moments, and upload clips
Weekend availability
Attention to detail is a must: someone who can double-and triple check their work, and be an extra
eye to other team members' work
Work according to CP timezone (PST)
MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
