About us: Namunyak Impact Group is a U.S. faith-based nonprofit empowering women artisans in Kenya so they can support their children and communities. Our 501(c)(3) status is in process. I need a detail-oriented VA to find grant opportunities and build our funding pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Research foundation, corporate, and faith-based grants for women’s economic empowerment and international development (Kenya/East Africa)
Identify grants open to organizations with pending 501(c)(3) status or through fiscal sponsors
Track opportunities in Google Sheets: funder, amount, deadline, eligibility, link, and fit
Monitor deadlines and send a short weekly report
Help gather documents for applications
Requirements:
Excellent written English
Experience with grant research or nonprofit support
Familiarity with Candid/Foundation Directory, ---------- , or similar tools is a plus
Organized, accurate, and reliable
