Senior QuickBooks Online Accountant – Balance Sheet Focus (Full Time, Graveyard Shift)

We're a US fractional CFO firm serving home-service companies (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fencing). We need an accountant who truly understands the balance sheet, not a data-entry clerk.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Keep the books for several US clients at once in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile every balance sheet account, not just bank and credit cards: payroll liabilities, loans, fixed assets, accruals, clearing accounts, and equity
• Find and fix what doesn't make sense on the balance sheet and P&L, and trace it back to the transactions
• Close the month and prepare financial statements
• Join client meetings on video when needed

YOU MUST HAVE

• Strong QuickBooks Online experience (required)
• Experience handling multiple clients at the same time. If you've only worked for one company, this role is not for you.
• Real balance sheet knowledge. If your experience is mainly accounts payable and accounts receivable, please don't apply.
• Availability for a full-time shift of 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM US Eastern Time
• A fast, reliable internet connection with a backup
• A quiet workspace with a professional or virtual background for client video calls
