Graphic Designer – Facebook/Instagram Ads, YouTube Thumbnails, Simple Motion (Part-time)

About us
We're a growing couch restoration and resale business in Brisbane, Australia, documenting the journey on YouTube and Instagram. You'll join a small content team: me on camera, a content assistant who plans and briefs, a video editor, and you making the creative that gets people to stop scrolling.

What you'll do

• Design Facebook /Instagram ad creatives, static and simple motion/video, including new concepts every week for testing
• Design YouTube thumbnails
• Build and maintain our Canva brand templates so the team can make quick posts
• Resize and adapt creative for each placement (1:1, 4:5, 9:16)
• Work from briefs sent by our content assistant, and improve designs based on ad results (click-through rate)
• Keep design files organised in Canva and Google Drive

You'll suit this if you

• Have a portfolio with social media ads and YouTube thumbnails
• Work in Canva (required, so the team can edit); Figma or Adobe a bonus

-bonus if you Can do simple motion: animated text, short video ads (CapCut, Canva animation; After Effects a bonus)

• Bonus: happy to use AI tools like Claude to speed things up
• Deliver on time, every week
