About the Role

Role purpose
Create clear, engaging content that helps people understand Brain Aid Clinics and its services. The role focuses on video creation and editing, social media publishing, digital design, the email newsletter, and editing blogs into content suitable for patients and referrers.
You will own the content production and publishing process, keep work moving through approval, and prepare the weekly KPI pack, including the patient tracker, for distribution by 3pm AEST each Monday.

Key responsibilities
Video creation and editing
Plan and coordinate video recording with Dr Grace and the clinical team.
Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media and other marketing channels.
Turn longer recordings into short clips, reels and educational content, using BAC's record-once Content Engine workflow (Descript).
Add accurate captions, clear titles, appropriate graphics and calls to action.
Maintain an organised library of footage, completed videos and reusable assets.

Digital design
Create social graphics, carousels, video thumbnails and blog images using BAC's brand templates.
Maintain and update BAC's digital brand templates so content stays consistent.
Brief and coordinate external designers for print and more complex design work.

Social media management
Maintain the content calendar and coordinate production, approval and publishing.
Write captions and adapt content for each platform.
Schedule and publish approved posts consistently.
Classify each piece of content by channel (public, post-enquiry or health-professional only) in line with BAC's Content Engine SOP.
Moderate comments and messages daily, respond using approved guidance, and refer clinical questions or patient enquiries to the Convert team.
Escalate immediately any comment or message suggesting a risk of harm, following BAC's risk escalation procedure.
Identify useful topics and formats based on audience questions and content performance.

Blog editing, email newsletter and content repurposing
Edit supplied drafts, transcripts and clinician notes into clear, readable blog articles.
Improve structure, grammar, tone and basic search optimisation while preserving clinical meaning.
Repurpose approved blogs into social posts, video scripts, short clips and newsletter content.
Prepare and send the regular email newsletter in GoHighLevel, drawing on approved blogs and videos.
Manage subscriber lists and sign-up forms, and track opens, clicks and subscriber growth.
Check that links, formatting and calls to action work before publication.
Flag clinical claims or factual gaps for review.

Weekly KPI reporting
Prepare and distribute the weekly KPI pack by 3pm AEST each Monday, covering the previous Monday to Sunday.
The pack covers BAC KPI results, digital marketing and ads (compiled with Puzzle Media's weekly report), Google Ads, social media performance, and the patient enquiry report.
Keep the patient tracker current each week, including enquiry status, psychiatrist appointment dates and treatment start dates.
Report on content published, reach, video views and watch time, engagement, audience growth, website traffic, newsletter performance and attributable enquiries where data is available.
Compare results with agreed targets and the previous week.
Summarise what worked, what underperformed and the actions proposed for the coming week.
Check figures for accuracy and clearly identify missing data or attribution limitations.

Content quality and approvals
Follow BAC's brand, privacy, patient consent and healthcare advertising requirements.
Apply AHPRA and TGA advertising rules: no testimonials, outcome guarantees or before-and-after content, and no references to TGA or ARTG status in public material.
Obtain clinical approval before publishing content that discusses conditions, treatments or clinical outcomes.
Use approved wording and escalate uncertain claims.
Handle patient information confidentially and only within the systems BAC provides.
Manage deadlines proactively and flag delays early.

Skills and experience
Demonstrated experience creating and editing short-form video.
Strong social media copywriting and blog editing skills.
Confidence using video editing, design, scheduling and analytics tools, for example Descript, Canva, Meta Business Suite, GoHighLevel, Notion and GA4.
Experience with email marketing platforms and basic spreadsheet reporting.
Ability to turn technical information into accessible content without overstating claims.
Strong organisation, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is preferred.
Ability to work independently and coordinate efficiently with a busy clinical team.

What success looks like
Approved content is published consistently against the agreed calendar.
Each recording produces a useful range of finished content.
Videos and written content are clear, accurate and consistent with BAC's voice.
The weekly KPI pack reaches the agreed recipients by 3pm each Monday, and the patient tracker is current.
The newsletter goes out on schedule and the subscriber list grows.
Performance insights lead to practical improvements in content and enquiry generation.
Routine production and publishing move forward without repeated reminders from Dr Grace.
Provisional targets will be agreed for the first 90 days, for example posts per week, clips per recording and newsletter sends per month, and reviewed as the role settles.

Application requirement
Please provide examples of short-form videos you have edited, social media accounts you have managed, and a blog or article you have written or edited. If you have them, please also include an email campaign and a report or dashboard you have prepared. Include a brief explanation of your contribution to each example.
