Instagram Social Media Manager | Engagement & Affiliate Outreach

Optimum Formula is a research-use-only e-commerce company with an affiliate and ambassador program. We’re hiring a reliable, experienced Instagram Social Media Manager to handle daily engagement, strengthen affiliate relationships, and connect with potential new partners.

You should enjoy writing, understand how people interact on Instagram, and know how to join a conversation naturally. A thoughtful comment, a well-written introduction, and consistent follow-through are central to this role.

We provide a written engagement SOP and brand guidelines. We need someone who can learn the process, follow it carefully, and take ownership of the daily work.

POSITION DETAILS

• Remote, part-time position
• Approximately 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• $5 to $7.50 USD per hour, depending on experience
• Consistent daily availability, with working hours agreed before starting
• Some overlap with U.S. business hours for communication
• Shortlisted candidates will complete a short paid skills exercise

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Engage with our affiliates and ambassadors

Review our priority affiliate accounts each workday. Like relevant posts and leave thoughtful, supportive, or witty comments that relate directly to the content.

Your comments should sound like a real person who actually read the caption or watched the video. Use humor when it fits, and adjust your tone to the person and conversation.

2. Find relevant conversations

Identify suitable posts and conversations within our approved fitness, health, and research topics.

Contribute comments that are relevant and useful. Follow our public-comment guidelines, including no peptide mentions, compound names, product promotion, discount codes, or promotional links.

Use good judgment about which conversations to join and which to leave alone.

3. Find and contact potential affiliates

Research creators and potential partners using our qualification guidelines. Consider their content, audience fit, quality of engagement, and existing partnerships.

Write personalized introductory messages that clearly identify Optimum Formula and explain the partnership opportunity using approved information.

Share the affiliate application link after someone expresses interest. Follow our follow-up process, respect declines, and keep each conversation organized.

4. Manage routine comments and messages

Check comments and DMs at the beginning and end of your scheduled workday.

Respond to routine questions using approved information. Pass customer service issues, sensitive questions, and anything outside your responsibilities to the appropriate team member.

Follow our research-use-only communication guidelines. Do not provide medical advice, dosing instructions, human-use recommendations, or unsupported product claims.

5. Track your work and report results

Maintain a simple activity and prospect tracker.

Submit a short daily update covering:

• Affiliate accounts reviewed and engagement completed
• New qualified prospects identified
• Outreach messages and follow-ups sent
• Replies and interested prospects
• Affiliate application links shared and confirmed applications
• Questions, opportunities, or issues needing attention

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Hands-on experience managing Instagram engagement, communities, or influencer outreach for a business
• Excellent written English with a natural, conversational style
• Good judgment about tone, timing, humor, and appropriate conversations
• Ability to follow a written SOP consistently
• Strong attention to detail and dependable daily communication
• Confidence using Google Sheets or a similar tracking tool
• Ability to work independently and apply feedback
• Reliable computer and internet connection

Experience with fitness, bodybuilding, wellness, or research-focused brands is helpful.

All engagement must be manual and personalized. We do not use purchased followers, engagement bots, repetitive bulk comments, or mass messaging.

Our priority affiliates receive consistent attention. Comments fit the posts they appear on. Suitable prospects receive thoughtful introductions. Interested partners receive timely follow-up, and the activity tracker clearly shows what happened and what comes next.

Write an introductory DM of no more than 60 words to a fitness educator you believe could be a suitable affiliate.

Introduce Optimum Formula as a research-use-only company and ask whether they would be interested in learning about the affiliate program. Do not include a link or invent product benefits.

4. A judgment question

Describe one situation where you would choose not to comment on a post, and explain why.

5. Availability

Include your desired hourly rate, available working hours in Philippine Time, and earliest start date.
