Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical claims to ensure accurate billing and timely submission.
• Monitor insurance claims, rejections, denials, and outstanding accounts receivable.
• Perform insurance payment posting and reconcile payments against billed charges.
• Investigate claim denials, underpayments, and reimbursement discrepancies.
• Follow up with U.S. insurance companies to resolve unpaid and incorrectly processed claims.
• Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs).
• Review AR aging reports and prioritize accounts for follow-up and collection.
• Identify denial patterns, billing errors, and opportunities to improve reimbursement.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and billing performance reports.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and U.S. healthcare clients to resolve billing issues.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in U.S. medical billing, claims processing, or revenue cycle management preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. health insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, EOBs, ERAs, and claim adjustment codes.
• Experience in accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, or payment posting is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Commitment to confidentiality, data security, and professional conduct.

Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

• Physician and outpatient medical billing
• Home health and hospice billing
• Medicare claims and reimbursement
• Insurance authorization and eligibility verification
• Denial management and AR recovery
• Revenue cycle reporting and performance analysis
