Part-Time Short-Form Video Editor (Instagram and Facebook Reels) for a Minnesota Farm Brand
Confidential employer
I'm Jason. I own a company in Minnesota and run a small local food brand called So.Fed: pasture-raised lamb and chicken, a self-checkout cooler, and a mission to keep money in our community. I shoot raw video on my phone most days: my guard dog Zeus, the sheep, my kids on the ranch, raccoon traps, the cooler. I need someone who can turn that footage into short videos people want to watch.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Pull raw clips from a shared Google Drive folder.
- Cut 5 to 7 vertical videos a week (20 to 60 seconds) for Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels.
- Add a hook in the first 3 seconds, burned-in captions, and a simple end card.
- Write a suggested caption and hashtags for each video.
- Turn videos around within 24 hours of upload.
- After the first week, schedule and post directly through Meta Business Suite.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
- You've edited short-form video that got views. Send links.
- You understand hooks, pacing, and captions for sound-off viewing.
- You can keep a video raw and real. No heavy effects.
- You write clear English captions.
- You're reliable on a 24-hour turnaround.
- CapCut or Premiere, your choice.
HOURS AND PAY
- Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with room to grow.
- $600 to $800 per month depending on experience. Paid on time, every time.
- Long-term. I'd rather train one great person than churn through five.
HOW TO APPLY
Reply with:
1. Links to 3 short videos you edited (Reels, TikToks, or Shorts).
2. One sentence on why farm and food content interests you.
3. Your rate for 20 hours a week.
Put the word ZEUS in the first line of your reply so I know you read this.
Top applicants get a paid test: $30 for a 48-hour edit of real footage.
