Recruiter/Headhunter

At Plumbing, Cooling, and Electrical Nerds, our growth is limited only by the size of our team. We are looking for a high-energy Recruiter/Headhunter to find the best tradespeople in Southwest Florida. You won't just post ads; you will actively search for top-tier talent on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Facebook Groups, "selling" the Nerd culture to pros who are currently working elsewhere.

Daily Expectations:

• Actively source and headhunt technicians (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) in the SWFL market.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to vet for cultural fit and technical basic knowledge.
• Coordinate in-person interviews between candidates and our local management team.
• Manage the "Applicant Tracking System" to ensure no lead goes cold.
• Build a "pipeline" of talent so we have candidates ready when a position opens.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience recruiting for the trades (Construction, Home Services, or Blue Collar).
• Deep understanding of the SWFL geography and labor market.
• "Sales" mindset—ability to convince high-quality techs why they should join our team.
• Proficiency with Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social media sourcing.
• Excellent English communication skills with a persuasive, professional personality.
