Digital Marketing Coordinator
Confidential employer
Digital Marketing Coordinator: run a Multiple episode-a-week podcast operation (no editing, full-time, long-term)
Run a multiple-episode-a-week podcast operation. No editing. Fully remote.
Full-time, long-term | Remote | USD $12 to $16 per hour depending on experience, plus 13th-month pay, paid leave and additional benefits | Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm Adelaide time
You've run production before. You know what it looks like when it's working, and you know exactly how it unravels when nobody is thinking at least 4 weeks ahead.
Maybe you're the one quietly holding it together right now, without the title or the authority to fix what's broken. Maybe you've been asked to produce, book, edit and post all at once, and the part you're actually good at, running the operation, keeps getting squeezed out. Or you're inside a big network where the plan changes daily and "as directed" is in your job description.
This is a different shape of job.
Your mission: keep every show at least four weeks ahead, every week.
Multiple episodes a week across multiple shows. Recordings booked months out. Editors who know what they're cutting. Clients who know what's coming. Problems found long before they become urgent.
You won't edit anything. You'll run the operation that keeps 3 to 5 editors and 2 virtual assistants fed, on time and out of the Director's inbox.
WHO YOU'D BE JOINING
Pizza & Property is an Australian property investment podcast and YouTube channel, publishing since 2019, more than 1,000 episodes, and rated 4.8 stars by listeners across Apple Podcasts and Spotify. We've grown into live panel events, an investor education course, and a production studio "P&P Studios" in the Adelaide CBD that now produces multiple custom podcasts for clients alongside our own show. The studio producing custom podcast and YouTube channels is where we're now growing!
The studio runs on systems, not heroics: an Airtable pipeline that tracks every episode from "sold" to "published", Slack automations that help manage workflow with editors, Canva shoot packs for every recording, and an SOP library we're building out. Our production team is already remote. You'd be stepping into a running machine, and once you've learned it, you'd have licence to make it better!
You'll report directly to the founder and Director, Todd Sloan. We're a small, remote, founder-led team of people who love what they do and care about doing it well. Short daily calls, headlines not waffle. Nobody's looking over your shoulder, but nobody's hiding either: if a show slips, everyone knows, and we fix it together.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Keeping production ahead. Plan air dates, run the content calendar across multiple shows and protect the four-week buffer.
- Booking every recording. Guests and clients, including interstate clients who fly in quarterly to record three months of episodes in one visit.
- Running the pipeline. Assign episodes to editors and track each one through Airtable from recording to publish-ready.
- Keeping clients organised. Track packages and inclusions, flag renewals two months out, and coordinate agreements and approvals with the Director.
- Setting up every shoot. Shoot packs, ideation sessions, content calls, shoot days, intro recordings, and titles and thumbnails scheduled on time.
- Leading the team. Daily point of contact for 3 to 5 editors and 2 VAs.
- Keeping the Director informed, not involved. Manage the production and bookings inbox, and run one short daily call: headlines, decisions needed, your recommendation.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
- Real ownership. The whole operation, not a slice of it.
- No editing. Ever. That's what our amazing editors are for.
- A direct line to the founder. One daily call, no layers in between.
- Long-term and full-time, with 13th-month pay, paid leave and additional benefits.
- Remote, with a fixed rhythm: 9 to 5 Adelaide time, Monday to Friday.
- Systems already built. You inherit a machine, then improve it.
- A front-row seat in the Australian property industry: the guests, panels and clients you'll be booking are the people investors listen to.
YOU MIGHT BE
- An agency production coordinator who has run the schedules for several clients' shows at once but never been handed the authority to own the operation.
- A producer who has worked out that the part you love is the operation, not the edit.
- An operations person from a creator or media business who wants a smaller team and a bigger remit.
- Someone who already keeps multiple calendars in their head and would rather keep them in Airtable.
WHO SHOULDN'T APPLY
- You want to edit. There's no editing in this role.
- You need the day's priorities handed to you each morning.
- You bring problems without a recommended fix.
- You treat "four weeks ahead" as a stretch goal rather than the floor.
- You can't commit to 9 to 5 Adelaide time, Monday to Friday, every week.
- You've only ever run one show. This role is multiple shows and five episodes a week from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
This isn't an entry-level production role. You'll be taking responsibility for a live pipeline across three shows from day one, so hands-on agency experience running more than one show at a time is essential.
- Agency or studio experience managing multiple podcasts or YouTube channels at the same time, from recording through to publication. This one is non-negotiable.
- Experience coordinating schedules, bookings, people and deadlines.
- The ability to plan a content calendar with an eye for guest and topic variety.
- Experience working directly with a founder, director or senior executive.
- Clear, confident spoken and written English.
- Confidence with Gmail, Airtable, Slack, Canva and Dropbox. ---------- is a bonus; we're moving our file management across to it.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet space to work from.
HOW WE'LL SET YOU UP
You'll spend your first one to two months shadowing the person who runs this now, learning the process, the team, the clients and the systems. From there you take ownership progressively, and you'll have the room to refine the processes you've inherited. You'll work directly with the Director, with a daily rhythm that keeps priorities and decisions aligned.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Imagine reaching the end of the week knowing every show is four weeks ahead. Recordings are booked. Editors know what they're working on. Clients are organised. Problems were resolved before they became emergencies. And the Director knows what's happening without having to manage a single detail.
That's the difference you'll be making.
THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
- Position: Digital Marketing Coordinator
- Location: Remote, with a reliable internet connection
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Adelaide time
- Remuneration: USD 12 to 16 per hour depending on experience, plus 13th-month pay, paid leave and additional benefits
HOW TO APPLY
No cover letter. Just four things:
1. Three bullet points, one line each, on why you're the right person for this role.
2. Links to the podcasts or YouTube channels you've managed, with a line on your role in each and which of them you ran at the same time.
3. A 60 to 90 second video or voice note (phone quality is fine, unlisted link is fine) answering: tell us about a time you were responsible for keeping a production schedule weeks ahead. How did you run it, and what happened? No script. We want to hear you, not read a perfect paragraph.
4. Your favourite movie. We're curious.
Applications close 28 October 2026. We'll reply to everyone who completes all four steps. References will be requested from shortlisted candidates.
If you're ready to run the operation that keeps great content moving, we'd love to hear from you.
