REMOTE DENTAL INSURANCE AGING SPECIALIST

💰 Compensation: $550/month
🌎 Position: Remote – Multiple Dental Locations
🕒 Schedule: Must be available during Eastern Time (EST/ET) business hours
💻 Software: Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend & Open Dental

We are seeking a HIGHLY EXPERIENCED Dental Insurance Aging Specialist who knows how to effectively work outstanding claims, resolve unpaid accounts, and maximize insurance collections without creating additional issues.

Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance aging for multiple dental practices.
• Follow up on outstanding, unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.
• Investigate claim discrepancies and take the necessary steps to obtain payment.
• Resolve rejected claims, denials, and insurance payment issues.
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, and supporting documentation when necessary.
• Identify and resolve outstanding balances without creating duplicate claims, incorrect adjustments, or unnecessary account changes.
• Maintain accurate claim notes, documentation, and follow-up records.
• Provide detailed progress reports and meet assigned deadlines.
• Take ownership of outstanding claims and work toward complete resolution.

STRICT REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of PROVEN dental insurance aging experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, and Open Dental.
• Extensive experience with insurance claim follow-ups, appeals, denials, and payment resolution.
• Must understand dental insurance processing, EOBs, COB, and payer guidelines.
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve complicated claims.
• Exceptional accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to manage multiple locations without constant supervision.

A LIVE SKILLS ASSESSMENT IS MANDATORY.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate their ability to navigate dental software, investigate unpaid claims, identify billing errors, determine appropriate follow-up actions, and resolve insurance aging issues.

If you cannot demonstrate the required knowledge and skills during the assessment, you WILL NOT be considered for the position.
