PART-TIME GRAPHIC DESIGNER — MARKETING, WEB & PRINT
Long-term contractor | Approximately 20 hours/week
PHP 50,000–60,000/month, depending on demonstrated ability

Do you enjoy turning detailed information into clear, professional designs? Can you bring a consistent look to product brochures, email campaigns, website pages and tradeshow materials?

Intriquip Instruments Inc. supplies and services veterinary equipment for customers across Canada. We are looking for an experienced designer in the Philippines to work with our Marketing Manager, Aaron, and collaborate with our marketing researcher and product specialists.

We want someone who brings thoughtful design ideas, asks useful questions and takes ownership of producing accurate, usable work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design email campaign visuals, product literature, website pages, blog graphics and tradeshow materials.
• Create reusable templates and practical visual standards that keep our materials consistent.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and organised, editable source files.
• Build approved website and email layouts using visual editors, checking desktop and mobile presentation.
• Improve the visual design of email and quotation templates in Odoo, collaborating with a developer where coding is required.
• Support design and page assembly if we migrate our website to Odoo in the future.
• Manage agreed deadlines, communicate obstacles early and respond constructively to feedback.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, visual hierarchy and consistency across formats.
• Experience with product literature or other detailed documents, printed materials and website/email layouts.
• Confidence using professional design tools such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma or comparable tools.
• Ability to create editable templates and hand over files another team member can update.
• Basic experience implementing designs in website or email builders.
• Good written and spoken English, careful attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar products and software.

Odoo experience and basic HTML/CSS are advantages, but are not required. Advanced development will be handled with a developer. Veterinary industry experience is not required.

HOW WE WORK

This is an ongoing contractor opportunity for approximately 20 hours per week. Most production hours can be flexible, with agreed weekly meetings and review times.

You will receive direction, product information and feedback from our team. We also want you to question unclear briefs, suggest improvements and explain your design decisions.

3. A brief example of design feedback that substantially changed your work and how you handled it.

4. An example of learning unfamiliar software, and how you would approach your first assignment in Odoo.

5. Your expected monthly rate for approximately 20 hours/week, current availability, earliest start date and availability for meetings in Philippine time.

Shortlisted candidates will have a portfolio interview. Finalists will complete a short, paid design assessment using the same supplied brief, followed by a discussion of their work.

We assess design judgment, accuracy, communication, learning ability and response to feedback. We do not require free custom design work with your application.
