Social Media Manager (Part-Time, Remote – Long Term)

Heirloom Event Company® is a U.S.-based wedding planning company serving couples in Chicago, Milwaukee, Northwest Arkansas, and Los Angeles.

We’re growing and looking for a reliable Social Media Manager to own our daily content across Instagram, Facebook , and TikTok. We want someone long-term who communicates consistently. Being dependable matters as much to us as being creative.

Responsibilities

Post daily content on Instagram, Facebook , and TikTok
Create and edit graphics in Canva using our brand templates
Turn wedding photo galleries into carousels and reels
Write captions in our brand voice: polished, warm, intentional
Plan and schedule content at least one week ahead using a content calendar
Light engagement (reply to comments and DMs when needed)
Keep branding consistent across all platforms
Credit photographers and vendors on every post

Communication Expectations (Required)

Weekly Friday report: a short email listing what posted this week and what’s scheduled for next week
Respond to email s within 2 business day
Heads-up within 48 hours if anything affects your work (illness, tech issues, travel, other commitments). One sentence is enough. We understand life happens. Going silent is the only thing we can’t work with.

Requirements

Strong Canva experience (REQUIRED)
Experience managing social media for a business
Excellent written English
Strong attention to detail
Organized and dependable, with a track record of consistent posting
Comfortable following brand guidelines
Reliable computer and internet connection, with a backup plan if either goes down
Experience in weddings or luxury services is a plus
